  1. I believe that was actually beer rash, not sunburn!
  2. F***ing fantastic! And F1 is supposed to be boring.... An incredible race, and the right result. I have to say that I feel for Massa. He was never an outright championship-winning driver in my view (and many others too) but he's been great this year. Bring on 2009 with the new regulations. Should be a great season!
  3. Good to hear. Always quite liked it before a game myself, despite all the RedSox in there watching the Premier Greed.
  4. I was thinking 94 for the Divine Intervention tour. But yes, awesome. Even the Apollo hitlers weren't spoiling the fun that night. Slayer play as tight live as any rock band I can think of, even if Tom's voice has it's off days now and again. I used to have an excellent live video, but it's vanished...
  5. I thought their goal was a fantastic bullet header. One of Mr.Gregan's finest!
  6. Chuck in this and you're probably about right. Dave looks SO much straighter these days!
  7. He did, but it was for a Leicester goal kick, not a corner. That was completely unbelievable, one of many sadly. It was nice to see Brett Ormerod giving the linesman plenty! Thought he might have got booked before even taking to the pitch.
  8. Has anyone ever seen him play for us when REALLY fit? I hope he can stay fit and prove himself, and challenge for our first team.
  9. This has been going on for nearly a week, so it didn't start as epilepsy. I think it originally started with him fainting... Possibly a stroke? He'd already retired due to arthritis.
  10. The implication is that SCFC were advised by the police to restrict away tickets.
  11. SC didn't say "HE'S done nothing", but "SOME have done nothing" (in terms of playing matches). A little bit outspoken, perhaps unwisely.
  12. Never mind... Anyway, how many pints did Gregan have?
  13. Yes, seen leaving a chippy with only one hand free! Sorry...
  14. Come on now... We were going to lose a game sooner or later. If we leather Hereford next Sunday, all will be back on track again!
  15. They did both sides, just to be sure. Our section looked pretty rammed from the Chaddy.
  16. I was disappointed that we never even got a mention in the sport section of Monday night's BBC regional news. Especially when they showed the Lasher's goals, and Bury vs Barnet!
  17. Might be a bit obvious (and not that wacky), but enjoying a beer here is an experience I'd like to repeat!
  18. Hard to tell. The player who finishes up with his studs in Crossley must have been close to offside. But hey, them's the breaks! BTW Stu, the commentary is still a bit tits-up towards the end (on the download version at least).
  19. Totally agree. Raikonnen was back in the lead before he met with the wall, so what advantage was gained? Massa was never in the contest, but he's been handed the win. It will probably get overturned on appeal, especially since Ron Dennis was told by Charlie Whiting that Lewis had done enough by letting Kimi back through.
  20. Reminds me of the boarding card for the Hull-Zeebrugge ferry. Written on the back was, "Driving tomorrow? Moderate drinking tonight." Naturally, since no driving was to be done the following day, drinking wasn't moderated. Our dad didn't seem to accept the explanation of why half the boat was disturbed at 2am! Remember?
