  1. Which Tesco is it? I don't even know why I'm asking that but it looks more like Costa.
  2. Brilliant. Somebody managing a team in the Championship is going to leave to manage a club on the verge of relegation to League 2. Not happening.
  3. Think he could do a job up front? That lot from Stretford are desperately short. £30m no less.
  4. Not sure Ritchie was a centre forward in the mould of those being discussed here, although he was undoubtedly the best striker I've seen in 40 odd years of watching. Of the centre forward types being talked about here (target men types) then Sharp, Bunn (assume you mean him not Dunn bfj ;)) and Fryatt were my favourites followed by Young and Jim Steele ;)
  5. I did say probably. He's on record as saying he loves the club. He's an (Irish) Manc. My feeling is that he'd rather be managing us than Newport for all sorts of reasons.
  6. The manager of Newport County probably would for one.
  7. That's brilliant sir. If I had the remotest idea how to post applause emojis on this site using an iPhone - I would be posting several. As it is I will just have to doff my metaphorical cap.
  8. If Blackpool, famous for paying £90 a week during summer, offer more than us we really are in deep s**t.
  9. On the basis of your first sentence he'll be no better there then.
  10. I'm not sure that's strictly true. Ferguson in particular had keepers post Scmeichel who he clearly could not stop making individual errors. What he could do, of course, was discard them and continue spending large amounts of money until he found somebody good. That is one boat we're not in.
  11. I take it he gets no credit for the well worked goal then. Or signing today's MOM. Yes he's fkd up the goalkeeping situation and after today if Coleman isn't back in he wants kicking but he's a few months into the job. Royle was :censored: for two years at least according to most around at the time and we all know that changing managers every few months works don't we, I mean look at Liverpool under Shankly / Paisley and Arsenal under Wenger and Utd under Ferguson. Giving your manager time never works does it.
  12. Lol. Fair enough didn't see that. 0-0 at that point too, clearly we should be in for whoever replaced him.
  13. You struggle with his name don't you ;)
  14. Centre half in a team that conceded 7 today. Just what we need.
  15. Perhaps UKIP should have been more aware of local geography rather than spending time poking around Company's (sic) House. Having a banner urging people to vote Bickley on Huddersfield Rd wouldn't have done them much good as people seeing it would already be in a different constituency and heading further and further away from the one in which he was seeking election.
  16. Can't understand for a second why they wouldn't acknowledge such wonderful support
  17. Does it? What does it say? That we have a much better than evens chance of not getting relegated?
