    imo, most of the blame has to lie with the fans (albeit not all of them). If you've got a load of miserable old farts slating you after every mistake you make (home matches), or you've got a few hundred people getting behind you and singing all through a match (away matches), which scenario are you most likely to relax in and play without fear of getting abuse (which in turn leads to a better performance by all)? I know which one it would be for me.

    He never beat his man and didn't put one good cross in? Are you taking the piss? He put in an absolutely perfect cross in the second half right onto abbott's head but he failed to get it on target. He also put a few decent crosses in but they didn't go to anyone because no one could be arsed getting in the box! As for beating his man, every time he did so he got brought down. He was the only player who i thought played ok last night along with gregan but that's just a formality.

    Exactly. Whether we rate him or not he is an oldham athletic player and to give that sort of abuse to one of our own players is absolutely disgraceful. THAT is why.

    All the more reason to be worried! Any team that's on a bad run must look at the fixtures and think "ooh when are we playing oldham, always a good team to play when you can't win to save your lives!"

    Parker was one of our best players in pre season so he's obviously got something. We really need to give new players more than 4 games before we judge them. The same applies to dean brill, give him a chance before getting on his back!
