  1. Thats a point could be a problem if we have a bobbins lino like against Leicester as I might be tempted to try and take his head off by throwing it like a frizby. I suppose that spells the end of the dream that is the boundary park percussion section with drummer boy aswell are we allowed triangles and tamberines though?
  2. Your not thinking 4th dimensionally! I will bring a pair of symbols to the next game (I'm a season ticket holder in the main stand) I can be the clubs number 1 Happy Clapper Suggest other do the same it may stop a few of the pacemakers around me the average age is about 104 where I sit (It was 107 last season in the lookers upper) but when you gotta go then you gotta go plus given the choice most of them would I'm sure rather die watching the club they love. Problem Solved!
  3. No other man would have lasted that long the crowd would not have put up with the type of dross we watched then under anyoneelse it was because, knowone would have turned on AR for the simple reason that he was and still is a god. I don't think we did have a the smallest budget in the league either Rotherham had a similar budget to us and got promoted under Ronnie Moore. Sorry Great player, Great Guy, a Manager sorry not up to it.
  4. It been eaten up by mine welcome to the world of merging posts
  5. Do you rember how bad we were under Andy Ritchie we were tragic! Do you remember how bad Huddersfield were last season when they played us and we pasted them 4-1? shez out your entitled to your opinion but Ritchie in would be a decision based purely on sentiment alone I'm sorry I would be dead against it.
  6. Not long to go and god I'm hoping something good happens I can hear the knives being sharpened and the guns being loaded it could get very lively on here over the next day or two.
  7. Good to hear from those that went we gave a good performance we need to follow this up now with a win on tuesday and a positive result down at Southend would take a draw but we are good enough to win there, and then put a run together. Today's result will mean nothing if we don't follow it up with more positive results it will be just like what happened after Scunthorpe and Hereford.
  8. Does anyonelse feel that bringing Maher into the team will help Allot? I think the reason he has suffered so far this season is that we are depending too much on him in midfield to win the ball back having Maher in their with him will help.
  9. wow thats Dangerous! I bet it makes him wanna Scream!
  10. So what was the reaction The reaction was that it was harder for the management to motivate the players, and the interview has now been pulled. Football is an industry unlike most others in its public and press attention you are right, which is why its public relations are so much more important. Lets look at how it should be done and begrudgingly we have to go to Old Trafford. Now very little gets out of the dressing room there. In his 20 years as manager of the most high profile club in the country Fergie never slags players off in public he leaves it to the dressing room he even goes as far as slagging off the referee even when he gets it right and will risk getting into trouble with the FA because of it to create the smokescreen and to alleviate the players from public blame. With that he has total respect from the players and with that his authority is unquestioned and so is his players motivation. When Roy Keane did a similarly explosive interview after a bad performance on the in house TV station he was jettisoned straight away. Proved the right decision as United got stronger from there. Simon Coreny isn't the manager you might say we know he isn't but when was the last time you saw a high profile Chairman come out and publicly slate of the players?
  11. So are you trying to say you don't rate Mark Crossley Lordy
  12. I think the players and staff are big enough to take criticism on the chin just not out in public for everyone too hear these matters should be kept behind closed doors. Genuinely sounds worrying if this is happening Simon could have created a wedge between the owners and the players and staff, hope this isn't the case and any differences are sorted out quickly because we have to have eveybody's nose pointing in the same direction for us to achieve anything we can't have any infighting it will be counter productive.
  13. I'd love to disagree with that but I just can't spot on prozac!
  14. Can't believe anyone can argue that the play offs are a bad idea its the best idea to come out of the football league if you disagree look at the attendences they get and this is when Sky want to cover every game it generates massive interest. Not only that if gives teams who are mid table in march something to aim at and the lower league teams a chance for a proper day out at Wembley. Going back to the old format of the top 3 going up would take tens of thousands of the aggregate attendences of the football league make it lesss attractive to TV companies and would sign the death warrent of football below the Premiership. Oh and football league attendences have gone up and up since their introduction. I don't care that Ive seen us get beat in them twice I would rather we were in their having the drama and excitement.
  15. Every team goes through a bad patch but the difference is the teams at the tops have bad patch's which are short and sweet where as teams at the bottom tend to be long and drawn out. Ours has gone on long enough now we need to remedy it a couple of wins weather they be scruffy or playing fluent football will do the job and it needs to happen now otherwise we are playing catch up for the rest of the season.
  16. Is this a novel way to improve Laticsworld subscription Corney's increasingly frequent
  17. Can we do it enough? When Scunthorpe came on Tuesday night they came to win which meant they got men forward to support their Strikers which left gaps up top for our midfield and strikers to exploit. yesterday Yeovil set their stall out play 2 banks of four and not give us space to play and it worked. Yeovil were not the first team to come and do that and certainly not the last so if teams are not going to let us play are we going to be able to give nothing away and nick a goal. Teams that make a habbit of winning ugly tend to be rather good at Set pieces and it goes without saying how bad we are at them, they don't give away the kind of goals that we did yesterday too which were both easily preventable. We need to learn to do this because not everyone is going to let us play football when they do we can beat anyone but we also need to win the scrappy one nils if we don't it will cost us big time.
  18. What went wrong what went right! Can't think of anything good to say at all about today looks like their is one thing for it I suggest everyone goes out and and gets hammered to forget about today
  19. When it was standing I believe the Chaddy held 6000 and was regularly full now capacity is 3600 and is hardly ever full. Also back in those days the RRE had no roof now it does with fantastic acoustics. The acoustics thing came into play with the construction of the RRE in the 90's which meant the away fans could comfortably outsing the home fans
