  1. Good to see that you haven't got over it. I think we should organise a boycott for saturday.
  2. Get a move on Rocky they are now on open sale.
  3. Not suggesting he would but that it wouldn't be possible at all for him to do that as he's under contract so we have that bargaining chip which is pretty handy when you are valuing a player.
  4. You mean that some people would rather see a team winning regularly in League 1 than winning only occasionally in the Championship. If thats what you mean then to an extent you are right however I think this will be balanced out by people wanting to see a better overall standard of football. Initially I would expect us to average about 8-9000 and with a ground development, stabilising in the championship, growing of the club we should be looking at 5 figure averages. Quick search on the internet as I have nothing better to do, Swansea average attendence last season was 13,519 this season so far is 15,153. Doncaster this season so far have averaged 11,387 where last season it was 7978. Forest last season averaged 19,955 this season so far 20,212. So overall it has a positive effect on attendences.
  5. I think he is contrated to us until the summer of 2010 so if he has a fantatstic season we wouldn't have to cash in in jan in case he did a Porter on us. Next Summer though our hands maybe forced abit more if we are still in this division and a big offer comes in.
  6. Think Lomax is a full back rather than defender. Hazel can play CB and RB because he has the the physique for it you wouldn't want Lomax having to compete for crosses against a big centre forward just like you wouldn't want Gregan chasing quick wingers. From what I have heard from Byrne and this is going purely of what people on this site have said he is more comfortable at Centre Half but can play LB so is their to keep Lomax on his toes, incase he lets his performance drop.
  7. See it wouldn't be so bad if you balanced it out every now and again with something positive. I don't mind moaning too much and if we were bottom won none after 7 then people would be well within their right to do it, even if we were mid table I think their could be a case for us underachieveing so a little bit of a moan there wouldn't be so bad. But we are top and lost none after 7 we have taken 17 from 21 from 7 games which gives us an average of 2.43 points per game which would give us over the course of the season 111.78 points. If we carry on the way we are knowone is going to catch us. This season is shaping up to be an enjoyable season where we are going to win more than we will lose maybe even get promotion if your going to get all hung up on losing 2 goal lead and only being top by 2 points then god help when things take a turn for the worse.
  8. Yes because people like that are depressing and negative to be around and just basically bad company. I don't have alot of time for people who sit and feel sorry for themselves all their lifes, they just come across as wimps. They never erect a statue of critic either do they?
  9. People were pre warned months ago if they didn't want that problem of moving they could/should have picked the Chaddy or main stand. It won't effect the attendence as neither the home or away sections will sell out and everyone who wants to see this will be able too.
  10. Well maybe I could hold of a delorient fix it with a flux capaciter and some uranium and get it upto 88 miles an hour I can go back to april at wembley in 1994 and get goal side of Hughes and lump it staright into row Z. Now that may mean interupting the space time continuon but thats the risk you take. On a serious note its all about how you react to things like this I remember when we went 2-0 up away from Home against Chesterfield back in 2002 and then surrendered that lead and were 3-2 down which then went to a 4-2 defeat, yesterday the same thing happened but we came back and drew 3-3 and from what has been reported could have won it. Hopefully we don't lose too many more lead this season.
  11. Someones academic record should not be put forward as a case for their opinion being right and other being wrong when analysing a footballers contribution to a game as they don't give GCSE's out in this kind of subject to the best of my knowledge. I myself have a degree doesn't mean my opinion is better or worse or right compared to someone who left school with no qualifications. Thats the beauty of football you don't have to be a genius to understand it.
  12. True and if it was upto me I would have liked to see Maher or Stephens on the bench over Davies or O'grady. Oh the joys of having options we couldn't even name a full bench 6 months ago.
  13. Not at all if ratters goes off Byrne comes on at LB Lomax goes to RB and Eardley goes to CM the place where you prefer to see him play.
  14. Well it worked when I was at Salford Uni so its worth a bash.
  15. I think he wishes that courier would stand and deliver
  16. Well obviously those things come as standard we could then have the new playboy sponsored Broadway stand I bet the stewards would throw knowone out for repeated standing then as Im sure thats one thing that would get us all to sit down. See problem solved!
  17. Am I the only one then that wants to see us build a new stand!
  18. Proof that the players do read this site welcome to OWTB Mark Allott!
  19. Yes I have been in their on numerous occasions usually on a friday if anytime.
  20. Huddersfield have been given the large section of the RRE thats 3000 seats out of a possible 10500 so that leaves us with 7500 to play with, a positive result at Hartlepool will see 6000 home fans turn up for this one, I think to we should charge full price for this game. If we were still a 13000 seater stadium then I think the idea would be more feasible.
  21. Of the last two seasons Skys bi-annual Grand Slam Sunday Really annoys me the hyperbole that this creates. Sky will build it up for weeks trying to convince me that I should sell every member of my family to see the "Four Majors go head to head" Now don't get me wrong I do like watching the premier league and do like watching the top teams but the way this is built up like its somekind of historical event when in reality its an opportunity for Andy Grey and Co to ejaculate wildly at something that in reality doesn't matter to me or the supporters of every other team outside the top 6-8 teams in the country really gets on my tits annnndd breath! that feels so good to get that of my chest.
  22. Both the city and United games are on before and after our game so feasibly it won't have that bigger effect as people could watch all 3 games without missing a kick. In the ideal world and if we had the facilities we would be able to show these games in a bar in one of the stands concourses we could really cash in on something like that I hope its something we consider for the future. Me my Dad and my bro aren't going this saturday due to a wedding but will be making up for it against Hudds as we have enticed atleast 4 friends to come down.
