If Dickov didn't think he'd feature in his style of play and was as someone said 'plan B', what if Abbott didn't want to play second fiddle and when the interest came he asked to listen to the offer, and thus Abbott's commitment to the club wasn't 100% and not up for a fight to play and ultimately gave Dickov the ammunition with which to send him on his way.
Not sure if we'll miss him cos if Dickovs going for the attacking from the front philosophy, then it's clear to every fan who saw him he wouldn't maintain it for a full 90 minutes week in week out.
Will definately be going with the trusty bet of him scoring past us at BP (if he's fit and playing of course!)
