  1. We’ll probably end up with Ruddy and Wilson back then ...
  2. Went last night and enjoyed the performance regardless of opposition. End of.
  3. Should charges the ref of not being in control of anything .....
  4. Surely RW deserves a chance here - he has overseen two wins against the odds from games which realistically we were going to lose against "stronger sides". The playing style has been more energetic and listening to his interviews he has a real desire for the job. Give him a shot rather than an unknown foreigner - both inexperienced as managers in this league, but RW surely has a head start and has given us all some optimism.

  7. Rather go down / out of business / reform as AFC Oldham and stand or fall by what we do as a club than be feeder club for any team. We all remember great FACup days against City, Liverpool, Everton, Forest, Southampton , Arsenal ( and unfortunately South Shields), as well as a couple of promotions and relegations since the late 60's, but we all get our moment in the sun as "our team" and put up with mediocrity in the meantime. Once that goes it's the end of the "92" club league for me.
  8. Whilst Fane is a sending off waiting to happen the second yellow today was as a result of a low challenge by both players and the ball flying up to hit the 20 in the kisser. witness the 20 walking to the touch line smirking knowing he had conned the ref. the ref just got worse witnessed by Clarkes booking and then trying even things up booking three of theirs in the last 5 minutes. The new Mark Clattenburg. Any faith in the assessors - don't hold your breath
  9. Whilst Fane is a sending off in waiting, the second yellow today was on the back of a low challenge by both players and the ball simply flying up and hitting the 20 in the kisser. Witness the 20 walking to the touch line smirking knowing he had conned him was equally to blame. However the ref just got worse and worse witnessed by Clarkes booking and trying to even things by booking 3 of theirs in last 5 minutes. any faith in the assessor- I guess not.
  10. Possibly needs Intrrnational clearance before confirming ??
  11. Ah yes - shooting from distance. What a novelty.
  12. Yes probably more appropriate but not as catchy as Poacher turned Goalkeeper.
  13. The way it's going we need to turn a goal scorer into a keeper.
  14. I've had a few glasses of red, but didn't Glenn Kelley play up front for part of that game ?
  15. Stefan Scougall released by Sheff United - always thought he was a good in. James Wilson also transfer listed - not one for us of course
  16. Agree with the above - I have handed my £75 back to the club and have effectively written it off for use by the club. The club should just hand the funds to the trust to decide what to do with it, ultimately for the benefit of the club AND the supporters. I am happy for the trust to make representations for the funds to be passed to them which hasn't been refunded. We should NOT have to cart up to BP and shuffle about at the ticket office window, slightly embarrassed asking for a refund.
  17. Could do with getting Wilson also signed up for next year. Twice the player under Sheridan and able to play on either full back side or centre half.
  18. Wilson Gerrard and Clarke all outstanding today - if there is a better back 3in this league we ain't seen them . All very comfortable whilst those in front of them got about Fleetwood.
  19. Surely not ? Square pegs and round holes spring to mind.
  20. Bit ironic as well given we played with no recognised striker for most of the game..
