  1. Ladapo starting? He's one of the worst for not giving a :censored:. Give Osei a chance.
  2. Depends on whether they can keep up with the energy and commitment, especially at home. They had it at start of the season but then it has practically disappeared bar the odd game here and there.
  3. Dunn had the same opportunity to assess for January when he had a squad of players (bar the loanees he brought in) that wasn't his. As you say Robinson has had to gamble on quite a few of them but he hasn't been able the get the best out of any of them. Clarke is doing what he has done for the last 10 years and I doubt Robinson works much with Ripley who will be working with Nash alot. Out of the rest, Flynn has had some good games but quite alot of the time he has been anonymous. We know he was hit and miss based on Sheff Utd fans reviews but considering he was a consistent starter in there team for the best part of 5 years I'd say there is alot more to come from him. The only other you could argue is McLaughlin who has put in some decent displays but nothing spectacular and I'd say there is alot more to come from him aswell. And thats about it. Two of them that he will hardly have to do anything with and two who have put in some decent displays but nowhere near what they are capable off. Then there is the crap football on offer, lack of goals, negative tactics and the team having actually regressed since the start of the season. Its not enough and it needs to improve quick if he wants to make changes in January.
  4. As with Dunn last season, do you give a manager the chance to make more signings (assuming our embargo is lifted in time) when he isn't getting the best out off any off his current players?
  5. Any point is decent but we need wins or there is the chance of us being cut off from the rest. However for the third time this season we have had a player sent off for two yellow cards and the fans have called it all three times yet it appears the management can't see it.
  6. They did but Johnson in particular got him playing well week in week out. They never made him the scapegoat and didn't crucify him for every mistake. Robinson is as he is dropped after every mistake he does yet some of Robinsons signings aren't. As you say ultimately Winchester does need to take responsibility for himself as a footballer but its clear he needs a helping hand from his manager.
  7. True. Goes to show how important man management ability is for a manager. Hopefully Robinson can show some soon otherwise he'll go the same way as Dunn.
  8. I wouldn't say Shez got the best out of him but I think that had he stayed then he would have this season.
  9. It'll be interesting to see how we line up that midfield three. Banks has a good range of passing but will be unable to use it much if played as the most advanced of the three. Although he does look useful around the edge of the box with his shots.
  10. Cheers BP. How do you think he will cope if he has to come on?
  11. Presumably looking to get Green some match fitness back. However I thought our midfield looked more balanced with a Fane/Banks combo. Be interesting to see how he lines up the midfield today. Not exactly. Just pointing out Robinsons piss poor man management skills. Practically every mistake he has made under Robinson has seen him dropped. It's clear he doesn't that well. Yet Robinson never seems to change his approach to him.
  12. Doesn't know how to get the best out of him (or many of the others!).
  13. Youth defender apparently, not sure on whether full-back or centre-back. Looking at the team, looks like we will be reliant on Flynn and McLaughlin pushing high up the pitch the support Mckay. Possibly with Banks in a slightly more advanced role?
  14. Dunn said similar last season. Sheridan came in and they all improved pretty quickly. Maybe we just need a manager who knows what he is doing? One of the things I noticed last night was whenever the camera was directed at Robinson, he was never offering any encouragement. Even when Mckay had just scored, he was just stood there doing nothing. It might have just been when the camera was directed at him but he looked clueless and lost.
  15. We seem to turn up for cup games this season so I'm expecting us to win.
  16. I mentioned it in another thread but it does look like the fixture list has been :censored: for us this year. All the clubs likely to bring 1000+ to BP we don't play until end of January onwards.
  17. Earliest date for it to be rearranged looks to be Tuesday 20th. Two home games week before christmas wouldn't be ideal for attendances though.
  18. BBC Cambs Sport ‏@BBCCambsSport 48m48 minutes ago The Oldham ground staff say the pitch was playable at 9am so there was no call for an early inspection.#pufc 0 replies . 5 retweets 3 likes How the :censored: has the pitch gone from playable at 9 to unplayable now?!
  19. I'd keep it the same as last night. Sounded like we was all over them first half so keep the same team that seems to be playing some better football.
  20. Does anyone else think we have been unlucky with the fixture list this season? All the teams who would bring 2,000+ like Bradford, Bolton, Sheff Utd etc and even the ones around 1,000 like Rochdale and Bury we don't play any at home until end of January.
  21. Isn't one of the biggest drains on our income the couple of hundred thousand we are paying into the premier league pension pot?
  22. It probably is. It's unfortunate that P'boro is to soon and Southend is the week before Christmas. As Whitts say we'd need the club, trust and media working together (might be slightly hard with the media after that interview though!). Hopefully we can get a few wins which would massively help any effort.
  23. Peterborough at home this saturday. A chance to make a small dent into the money owed? They can also make their feelings about Corney heard before/after the game aswell if they want (not that it would change much)...
