Basically what I thought. His constant backing off rather than pressing invited more pressure onto us and ended up with Fane running around the entire midfield trying to close Gillingham down.

I think he had goals in him just that he wasn't match fit when he joined. It looked as though Rochdale was the turning point but unfortunately he got injured against Chesterfield not long after. He definitely has the potential to be a championship striker though.

Yes we still need to add. But if your manager is backing you then you are more likely to play well and try harder. Last season Dunn was saying he needed new players and wouldn't have signed the vast majority of the players. They played :censored:. This season Robinson has been saying he needed to get rid of 4/5/6 and some would never play again. They play :censored:. Sheridan comes in and says they need some confidence. He did say as a player (I think). The bit I noticed most in the interview (and the same as last year) is him saying just need to instill confidence and belief in the players. Both Dunn and Robinson were talking to the press about getting rid of players (rightly or wrongly) and as a result the performances got worse.

No idea. His fitness might not be up to scratch but his reading of the game will be. How well he does initially might well depend on who is the other CB though.
