  1. Do we still get £10k for the win tonight though?
  2. Whilst Banks is quite slow and not the best defensively but he looks to move the ball forward and looks to be one of the few who can control the ball. If we can sort out the positional aspect of Fane's game then their is a potential partnership there between them two. Midfield looked alot more balanced with them two alongside each other.
  3. We had two that went just wide and never really tested their keeper, Ladapo's shot late in the first half was probably the most he was tested whereas Ripley had several to deal with. We've been :censored: nearly every game. Chesterfield, Swindon and MK Dons games were some of the worst games I've seen at BP recently.
  4. A nasty elbow? Deliberate elbow in the bollocks when Clarke on floor?
  5. To be honest, given the amount of players we had to sign its not surprising that some were likely to be shipped out at christmas.
  6. 12 matches would suggest biting or something along those lines?
  7. Another thing I noticed against Dale is that Green seemed to be leading our charge out from corners when we are defending. Surely it should have been one of Ladapo, Erwin or McLaughlin? It's bad enough leaving no one up but having a 33 year old lead the charge forward when there is a potential quick break on isnt the best idea...
  8. If we go to 5 in midfield I'd look to take Fane out for a few games and give Banks a chance. We need more composure on the ball and even though Banks is slow he is capable of getting the ball under control and keeping possession. Wouldn't mind seeing Woodland being given a chance aswell, granted he played poor against Carlisle but the entire midfield did in that first half.
  9. Normally you would expect someone to slot in at RB for a minute whilst Dummigan followed his man
  10. No one will buy us without the land etc attached aswell. The main two who control the land etc is Blitz and Gazal. Corney has made plenty of :censored: decisions but for the club to move forward with a new owner then it's all very reliant on what Blitz and Gazal want to do.
  11. He's made some :censored: decisions but its Blitz & Gazal who are more likely making a sale difficult since they appear to be the one's who are owed the money (mostly).
  12. Same old story. :censored: first half and get nowhere near their goal, manager shouts abit at half time and we put a bit of pressure on for 10-15 minutes but usually still look unlike scoring. Only difference today was that other teams have got the second goal that completely kills us off. I think November is a big month for Robinson. For all of Corney's faults if someone looks like they are going to take us down then he will sack them.
  13. Same story. :censored: first half, bit of pressure second without really threatening much bar Erwin once or twice. Won't be long before the Robinson out talk starts.
  14. Probably looking around 2000-2500 then when POTD is taken into account. Not too bad all things considered.
  15. Apparently they booed him off against Rocdahe. I think he was at BP on tuesday in Main Stand against Scunthorpe.
  16. And still would have strolled into our midfield!
  17. Clarke purely for that tackle/block when he was lying on the floor after their player went past Ripley.
  18. It is a risk but I suspect he will be relatively cheap initially and so far we are the only club he hasn't been involved in trouble at. If we can get him sorted again then he is potentially a £1m+ player for us.
  19. As NewBlue says it's the lack of intent. The midfield is generally to static, no one looking for space. They seem content with standing still. Although the lack of intent doesn't explain the ball constantly bouncing off them (and the strikers aswell). On the few times we have had the intent to go forward with 1/2 touch passing we seem to have a decent chance.
  20. Of course there is. But I doubt there is any with as much potential as Baxter has.
  21. Surprised he didn't give it since he gave a foul everytime someone fell over.
  22. If we could control and pass a ball and retain possession then they wouldn't need to run so much. In far to many games we have been unable to perform the basics. Granted every now and then we do such as against Scunthorpe but it's frightening how many times we either mess up a pass, mis-control it or play someone into trouble with a poor pass
  23. It's weird that during open play our defence is generally well structured but on set-pieces we fall to pieces. Too many people in the box to defend properly?
