The chances I can remember were Erwins free-kick, Flynn's shot, Erwins header from a corner and whoever their keeper saved from at the end when it was 2-0. Possibly the shot Erwin had blocked when he should have shot first time. That's 2, possibly 3 within the penalty box.

It's scary that we thought we was :censored: infront of goal last season.

Winchester is the fall guy. You could have made a case for any of the midfield four to be taken off today.

All our players seem to have an awful first touch and when they eventually control have no idea what to do. No movement from anyone. Half of them struggle to make a simple pass. I'm usually a glass half full but its becoming a joke how often we can't do the basics.

Our defending and attacking on free-kicks and corners is a joke. So much for them being our strong point...

Just seen an article on sky sports app about a documentary following players out of contract over the summer. Apparently Michael Collins ( played for Huddersfield and Scunthorpe i think it said) was about to sign for us in January but then Dunn was sacked.

Against Carlisle he had one ruled out that was similar to the one he scored today. 3 strikers scored in the past two games now, hopefully that can continue!

Any story that suggests the club is struggling in whatever way is accepted as gospel very quickly.

Coincidence that we went from top-half/play-off challenging to relegation battling when the two with the money left? Corney has his many faults but if you brought back Blitz & Gazal funding the playing side of the club then we'd be back to top half/ the odd play-off challenge...

Do you really need to ask him the first two? No coincidence that the biggest falls in our average started when Blitz and Gazal left. Also I doubt it is a coincidence that us, Bury and Rochdale have three of the lowest average attendances in the league. Rochdale currently have their version of Royle. When he left they dropped like a stone and returned to bottom half of league two. It'll happen again when he leaves again.

The NI way worked well at home for them winning 3 and drawing 2 in the Euro qualifiers...

I'm hoping for a Dummigan and McLaughlin combination down the right. We know Dummigan is a good player and McLaughlin came in with some good reviews. Reckord appears to be attack minded and looks to overlap, so a Reckord and Flynn combination might work well on the left side.

The few times I saw Dummigan play RWB when Sheridan was in charge he was :censored: at that role. Reckord didn't look that good as a LWB either in pre-season but improved when just standard LB with someone infront of him.

We still had the same problem in having no width. Ladapo, Erwin and Osei have pace but they are strikers not wingers. The team is similar to the one we had with Shez last season. Generally hard-working, usually relatively solid but not alot of quality with the exception of one or two. The main difference is we are lacking Palmer and Forte type players. One who has quality on the ball and can pick a decent pass and someone who can stretch the game out wide and generally beat most full-backs with pace 1v1. Winchester has the ability but his attitude and work-rate is holding him back. Flynn also but he seems to disappear during games. Relying on McLaughlin or Jarhaldo-Martin for stretching the game. Jarhaldo-Martin has been injured so we don't know if he is able to do that. McLaughlin came in with a decent reputation but has played poor whilst not being match-fit. The rest of the squad is pretty much a like for like.

Is it his fault that Steve Evans agreed to become our manager and then changed his mind at the last minute?

Erwin had one saved and another blocked in first half didn't he?

Who has had interest that you would say is decent? And to your post above, the people with a real stranglehold on the club is Blitz and Gazal - not Corney.

Perhaps the interest did get some time they deserved.

Yes lets do an out chant to someone who already wants out...

Lets not forget who hounded out the manager that gave us the best chance of promotion...
