Hughes celebration looking daft or not I want to see it more and more. Plus he's a happy chappy when he does it, he as absolutely no reason not to celebrate in whatever fashion he chooses providing it's not in a fashion as to get sent off or booked. I can understand why strikers want to take pens, it should be in their blood, however I want to see more freindship between these two. Bad blood (if there is any) between a strike force isn't needed.

Wasn't it stated prior to purchasing a ST that we may have to move should work commence leaving open what Sheridans World writes? however it had to be said for those that already sit there who took up their places this time. Still it was also said that the Lookers Upper brigade would get first refusal on where to sit in the new stand and everyone currently up there would be simpathetically treated when being re seated. I take this to mean if your seat is currently half way line then thats about where you'll be. Besides I hope everyone now rushes to the ticket office to take up half year season tickets to try to take advantage that in a few weeks they'll be back in the chaddy. As a side note - and has no relevance to the post of chatroom supervision, I'd like to add that OWTB is for the fans, and it does have it's groups within that, however the cliques on this board only survive because the minority speak of it. And I will not make them a martyr to their disruptive cause. Really? Do you honestly think everyone believes that's a figment of a fews imagination? without which the several cliques on this board and in life in general wouldn't exist. Perhap's the subtle difference between band of friends and cliques is being absorbed by a minority group to hoodwink the majority. I've heard it said quite a few times and indeed again in this thread how Wellens would come back to this club if the chance was offered. However no one ever quantifies this how they know this to be true. Can any of the claimers actually say why they believe this to be true.

The thing is Sheridan can't go around saying he got loads of signings wrong, he's already admitted (by their loan out and omission's) he was wrong about Ricketts, Kalala and Thompson (Thonpson was already out before his Op) whilst, our best run as seen Gregan sidelined. It all kinda reminds me about Bobby Robson's world cup campaign when his hand was forced to change his side that went on to come so close when finally beaten by Germany against run of play.

Earlier in the season Sheridan went public that he's told Davies to shot more. He wanted him to be more an out and out goal scorer. However Davies needs to get his head up more often and become a more all round player, his goals to date (amount) is fine. Now he needs to learn when to be greedy and when to be a team player and front two pairing player. At the moment Hughes and Davies aren't a true partnership up front in the sense of the term. You can't coach his pace (only slightly but the raw pace must be there to start with) but you can coach ball control and awareness. It's all about balance in a football side and we are slowly getting there, without doubt Davies has got the potential and to date Sheridan as got more out of him than Wolves and Verona did.

Diego, I salute your knowledge on all things council matters and read your posts with interest regarding the mechanism's of how everything works. In fact I would say many on this site look towards your posts for advice and direction. Now here's the however...... however this constant barrage that we, the converted on here ain't doing enough or willing in terms of emails etc is in danger of alienating the very people you're trying to encourage. Pipe it down a tad with that regard and return back to purely encouraging, advising and directing....Ta. I've said it before and I'll say it again, sure we may not have the numbers within the targetted wards that can cast a vote, but we all can canvass in that ward. We can saturate an area far more than the councillors can. There is always more ways than one to skin a cat. What about the voter who agrees with us but can't be hassled to get to the box by foot or bus? easy you tell them you'll collect and ferry them down there!
