Anyone could have picked that starting line up but the Manager is paid to figure out what to do if things aren’t working out…that’s where they earn a big part of their money Unsworth and Ebrell appear to have no idea what to do which makes them no more a football manager than you or me

He’s too good for us and needs to be playing in a decent team that provides service for him to feed off. He looks completely frustrated and angry already and there is no way he’s here for 2 years if it carries on like this (and it will with the Evertonians in charge)

I’m really not sure I can be bothered anymore. We have probably the worst midfield and the worst manager I can remember in the last 5 decades I was going to find a pub on Saturday to watch the game down here or pay for BT but as we’re almost certainly going to get spanked I think I’ll not bother and I was going to Borehamwood but I’m not going to waste my money. It surely must suggest that we haven’t been able to land the RB we want (or at least we’re still trying to work on it) and this seems like a pure stop gap…it also suggests to me that Unsworth thought Sutton and Hobson could cover in the meantime but last Saturday’ debacle and outcry from the fans has forced the clubs hand. Either way, nice to have someone at right back who has played there before as his actual full time job

Well, the fans kept our side of the bargain…4000 STs, really positive about the new signings, sold out our allocation at Southend, great atmosphere and noise before kick off…….and then…… Unsworth, Ebrell and the players have set the tone, not us….they need to fix it, starting tomorrow

I’d normally agree but there was something particularly shocking about almost every aspect of the Southend debacle….everything about the set-up was wrong; tactics, team selection, effort, passion, desire…all completely missing. You really did have to see it to believe how bad it was And what have we heard from the Manager, Club or senior players? Absolutely nothing!

nah, it’s like that old phrase “the best time to become a (pilot) was ten years ago but the second best time is today” ..and as my Wife says “if you don’t ask, you don’t get”!

I really don’t agree here…he is one division above but Oldham is a far bigger club than Barrow and, as importantly, it is his club so the opportunity to be part of our rebuilding would be very hard to turn down….he knows the potential and would have to believe he is the man to help deliver it…the long term plan is to get us to L1 and establish ourselves there again with a future shot at the Championship….Wild could become a legend at Latics

The Shots new striker Tolaj could have a field day on Saturday….has a great left foot and shoots from distance…with our non tackling midfield and defenders that just back off then Norman may get some more long range shot stopping practice

I just noticed this from Connor Ripley…posted an hour after they had lost 7-0 in their first game, on his debut! (got loads of positive responses….and they won last night!) Form is temporary, class is permanent……not sure our Manager has either “Today was clearly not what we wanted or expected and from me personally I want to apologise to the travelling fans! It wasn’t good enough and everyone is hurting! Thankfully we have a game Tuesday to make things right!! Thank you for your support”

Wild is the one I want…..Latics supporter who has shown he can organise and motivate teams and would stay with us to really build something great…we should make him an offer he can’t refuse
