Woah woah woah! (That's English for 'stop a horse) How has this thread turned into a witch-hunt? I was having a pop at the constant overhype on and around the OS; NOT the players who happen to feature in these articles. So, a temporary seating stand without a cover? Don't see why it couldn't work. If the club wants some seats back, there's at least 200 stuffed behind the back of Saddleworth Cricket Club, oh, and four in my back garden.

Let's face it - no news is bad news and we're hearing less and less about ground redevelopment. So, while we're stuck with the ashes (or the terraces) of the Lookers stand, let's pull together and come up with ways of, at least, making it look slightly prettier. I've read tonnes of ideas in the past couple of years about erecting (lol) a temporary stand or turning it into a standing section. Well, a stand would cost a bob or two and The Taylor Report says we can't go back to standing. Somebody must have a cost-effective solution to make my match day experience slightly less of an eyesore? Best ideas to The Joy.

Article I've just read says the clincher was the training facilities (?) and that they're not paying silly wages for his services. Suppose you're right about the injury record & not being overly honest about his release.
