  1. If the club want some seats back there's about two hundred dumped down the back of Saddleworth Cricket Club! (& 4 in my garden)
  2. Sounds like tickets are being posted on Monday morning. Probably why they asked us for our home addresses. Still, have to agree with you. The whole promotion has been a bit of a shambles.
  3. I agree. Excellent t-shirt apart from the font. It's a bit too American 'football' for my liking. I'll have a browse and see if I can find a 90's football font...
  4. http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/paulfletcher/20...eld.html#270434 Good article by Paul Fletcher on the pros of moving to a new stadium. Well worth a read.
  5. It's all well and good mocking Wednesday's demise but some people on here seem to have forgotten our own recent financial problems. Correct me if I'm wrong but weren't we the last club to go into administration and not receive a points deduction? It could've been a hell of a lot worse...
  6. Never really been a great advocate of fan t-shirts but I'd definitely buy one of these if mass produced. Palmer - 9 please!
  7. What's the deal with the roads near the hospital? I've never understood why nobody parks round there. I was late for a cup game a few years ago so was looking for spaces as close to BP as possible. Turned onto the estate with no 'no parking at any time' signs or double yellows and nobody said a word. Haven't been back since...
  8. Nice design BUT I've always preferred the badge on the heart to be honest. Also, an alternative tangerine version would probably go down well.
  9. He replied to mine - 'We will arrange the tickets to be allocated to you as soon as possible.' Sounds like they'll allocate tickets once the promotion is over.
  10. Coming from someone who enjoys (but never wins) the odd accumulator, this is a great little promotion. Sign up to Coral, deposit £5 and claim a free ticket against Exeter on the 23rd. On top of that, any bet placed benefits the club. In the words of Alan Partridge: 'Lovely stuff!'
  11. I believe they are. Two youngish girls were doing a bucket collection around Saddleworth only last weekend.
  12. Just found this on Urban Dictionary: Irish slang for a "Big Ignorant F** from Offaly" but feel free to substitute your city of choice... It's especially handy when the BIFFO doesn't know you're insulting him (or her), and even better when they shorten it for themselves and asked to be called "Bif"
  13. Anyone any idea why Dale fans refer to us as 'the biffos'? Menogeddit
  14. Cheers for that. Tried googleing/youtueing it but can only seem to find the Sheffield Wednesday one. Is it a feature on Soccer AM? If so, might be able to find a cheeky copy on an internet forum. Lost touch with the programme since Lovejoy left.
  15. Got a text the other day off my mate from dawwn saaarf saying there was a decent Latics feature on Sky Sports Two. I was out at the time so missed it. Did anyone see it? Was it any good? Anybody know where you can watch it? Sky Player? Got told there was a comedy moment with Dickov and a crate of booze...
  16. United hatred aside, Michaeda's winner was an absolute thunderbolt! In the words of Andy Gray, 'You don't save those.' Great strike.
  17. Initially, I was defending (terrible pun) Mvoto and McDonald hence the 'back to the [Gregan] topic'. In answer to your question: A 70% fit Gregan is better than any CB at the club.
  18. Unfair. They've both done good enough when called upon. Mvoto looked solid against Yeovil, not so much against Shrewsbury. McDonald was impressive when he replaced Hazell. Remember: We haven't scored many goals but we haven't conceded many either. Back to the topic - A 70% fit Gregan has to start.
  19. Am I the only person who can see genuine potential in Dean Kelly? He's an extremely forward-thinking player who, with better service, could be a real goal threat.
  20. Tonight's performance wasn't too dissimilar from Saturday's. Some decent interchange between midfield and forwards but, as displayed against Yeovil, no end product. No win in four but still unbeaten in the league. Let's hope it's a minor blip following our extremely positive start to the season.
