The only thing that could prove to be a stumbling block for the move away is the home grown rule in Europe. City need four players who have played for them for three or four years between ages of 15 and 21 in the registered 25 man squad. City have Hart, Richards, SWP and M.Johnson, they may be more but that all I can think of off the top of my head. When you consider only Hart is in the first team out of those four and the other three want to leave Mancini may only be able to sell one and I imgine it would not be Richards.

Put your hands up if your sick of the snow, I know I am. I just hope they don't call if off today, I understood it last time but we need some games now and can't afford many more games called off.

Gregan was great last season but as mentioned above we played deeper, when read Dickov saying Latics were going to push up and defend from front I said to my dad Gregan would struggle with that, to be honest last seaon we conceded a fair few from strikers getting in behind Gregan. Agree Black isn't good enough (yet) but I see this season as one to build on for next season, which means stick I think we should stick with him and let him get the expirence he needs to improve.

There something I really like about Kelly I really belive that he was one the best first touches (with his feet) at the club. If he starts more games I think he easily a 15-25 goal a season man, we've been begging for years for a good non-league player like Charlie Austin, Steve Morison and the like ok granted I don't think any Latics fan wanted a non-league player from Ireland but still he could be our great find.

I didn't go today and thus have yet to see the goals from today, but from I've seen of Brill last season and half I would say he is a good League 1 'keeper. The stick he gets is alot of the time out of order, his claiming of crosses isn't good enough. In fairness to him though if he isn't confident to come to claim it, he needs to stay put otherwise he only ever going to drop the ball. His kicking his bad that simple although lets be honest that doesn't make a 'keeper. He made some amazing saves, though, and deserves more credit.

I cheered Hughes while at he was at Oldham just like I do everyone but he wasn't here because he loved fans and club he was here to get chance back in football. I imagine it quite split who would want him back and who wouldn't but I think most fans would rather somelse, after all he not the best Oldham have ever had and we will have better in future. Let's forget about him now and move on, or we could just carry on looking back into past and call for return of our top goalscorer before Hughes, Porter.

Personally I never liked him got the club alot of bad press, as far as I'm concerned stuck two fingers up at the club by leaving like he did. I know this might stupid but I don't think he got enough goals looking at the amount of chances he used to have although I don't know the stats, if memory serves me right he missed alot and as others have mentioned he was a bad influence.

I agree that we are short on numbers up front but taking away the hat trick against Bolton in pre-season Eaves is still without a first team goal so I don't know if he would be worth bringing back. If Dickov does bring him back though I'll trust his judgement after he's the won with goalscoring expirence in the Premierleague and had a good look at Eaves during pre-season so knows more about him than I do.

Couple years back whilst at college he gave me the chance to interview him about the football finance for part of my course it was only a 15 minute interview but it meant alot considering the other clubs I e-mailed ignored my resquests. Always struck me as a man for the fans and is a true Oldham Athletic legend.

Every one played really well but I thought Ritchie Jones showed some fantastic touches and really good link up play. Great to see Furman finally score first goal and it was an amazing move by everyone to be honest though Brill scared me with crosses but still made some very good saves. All round good day and good performance now for 3 points at the Valley.
