How can you have an opinion on something you know nothing about? The problem with making statments like you did is that some idiots read and belive them, I read a comment on the oafc messageboard where someone made a claim that he had stolen all the money from the 90's. Just so you know no-one said you would want to go to court, the point is that if AH saw the comment and felt vindicated enough to sue you, he would. (From a legal point of view he does have vindication)

We were told by Hardy via the Chron that any money recieved for our players would go back into the transfer budget. With no evidence it would be unfair to accuse Hardy of lieing, the late payments came about because of investors backing out. We may not get the money for transfers but to act as if people are naive because they take a quote from Hardy at face value doesn't really seem fair.

It comes down to what else is on offer, as in the working situation will he play every game or a bit part player. I don't know if M'Voto going to Huddersfield would indeed be chasing cash.

I think some of the reaction to this thread has come from the fact that it is a question that has on obvious answer. Of course we are going to sign someone before pre-season, I know we are all bored at the moment but every summer we go through this. This last time we didn't even have a backroom setup nevermind players, we had just had a piss poor season and we had a low budget (bigger than know). There are many problems with the club, biding thier time and making sure we have the right players is not one of them.

After one good season he will be on his way for around a million and all we will be able to do is say "oh dear, that would have been nice"

Another worry is that the deal is worth £375K that usually includes any clauses, so unless we have a huge sell-on clause we been buggered.

Any idea on time frame? With United signing De Gea it is plausiable, still need another 'keeper though.
