    My attempt to make a joke using the humanity discovering patience above, clearly a poor attempt. A lot of what was said in the article has already been mentioned by the Chron, its like a mash up of a dozen other articles. Showing either a lack of info coming out of the club or poor journalism proberly a the first one.

    Huddersfield have more money than sense, they spent a million on Alan Lee who was terrible from what I saw.

    The constant one year deals is slight disconcerting, I think it comes down to budget. I assume that we offering one year deals as no-one knows the budget for next season or the division we will be in (whether up or down), also gives the club room to reduce the players wage if need be. PS Also really hope the top goes on sale nicest one for a while

    I would be disappointed if he went to Charlton, feel we could hold out for longer and for more money than Charlton can afford. I have a feeling we have been done here and sold him for under £500K

    Well seeing as the offices usually shut between 5 and 6 it doesn't look like its happening today and won't happen over the weekend so looks like Monday at the earliest and given players' ability to change their mind it makes me wonder whether it is going to happen at all.

    This is nowhere near as random and manic as the Facebook discussion group on this very subject, so just to make it even anyone who thinks we are getting promoted is a happy clapper no-nothing, and if you don't your not an Oldham fan and proberly never go. Seriously, though, I'm worried about next season but we do have the makings of a good side a few signings and could be something special.

    If he puts a shift in training and matchday wise could a an awesome player at that level. He is a skillfull player, who does seem to posses a good level of technical skill. I always felt he could dwell on the ball too long and seemed to lack the instinct of a good striker but stick him on the wing like Dickov did here or just off a 20 goal a season man and could do a good job.

    I am genuinely puzzled how any club can demand a fee from a transfer when none has been obtained, my understanding of the rules is that a 20% clause would relate to any transfer money recieved for the player. In theory if a player were to leave for free then there would be no transfer hence no 20%. I am proberly wrong on this it just seems ilogical for it to work any other way as we have already paid a fee for Stephens that was decided by the tribunal in the first place.

    Well easy away round it we let Stephens go for free and Norwich give us McDonald for a nominal fee or free.

    I still don't understand we paid Bury money for Stephens and as part of the deal they would get 20% of the fee we get. If we don't get a fee then we can't give 20% of it. 20% of nothing is nothing.

    I don't know if a swap deal would mean we would have to Bury some money, after all they get 20% of the transfer fee with a player swap there isn't one so we could get away with that. Unless they demanded 20% of McDonald so what maybe his hand?

    And of course Warne who is a coach at Rotherham, he is registered to play but so is Gerrard for us. What I love about that rumours site is the fact that it is all pure rubbish, but when our own manager has said we are looking at Cody McDonald in a player swap and Donaldson on a free no-one puts it on.
