  3. I think the two clubs chanting "Yarkshire" together and them stupid :censored:ing clapper things upset me more than owt on the pitch. DERN'T YER NER.
  4. Off topic but I know a few people 'in the know' at Latics and if they told me the sky was blue, I'd :censored:ing check. The bollocks they've spouted over the years rivals that tragic football rumours site.
  5. And that folks is why we shouldn't head in that direction.
  6. I don't want success if I'm being honest. I couldn't support a PL Latics nor could I feel the same way about a team with no history or traditions. It's one of the things I hold dear with Latics. I'd be more than happy to see us play in the Conference providing things were OK off the pitch.
  7. Maybe Lee can sort him out with cheap last minute plane tickets.
  8. I thought it was pretty funny. The match was horrifically boring.
  9. There was a few drunk students getting told off at Shrewsbury for being too loud. I thought football had died for a few moments.
  10. I highly doubt it's one of his songs mate!
  11. Singing a Will.I.Am song in a football ground should carry a very long ban.
  12. Man United have a bloke who makes most of their songs, he goes in their main boozer (Bishops Blaize) and a few lads start singing it, if it catches on the whole pub will sing it and then start singing it at the ground. If it fails, they'll just come up with summat else, it's a good system really.
  13. We'd have taken :censored:loads if it had meant something. Was a top day out, if we get days like Bury and Orient after all the :censored: we put up with, then I say it's a fair deal.
  14. Cheryl Cole she's having a party Cheryl Cole she's having a party Cheryl Cole she's having a party Doesn't sound that exciting mate!
  15. Stockport County have decided on going part time. http://www.stockportcounty.com/news/article/2013-04-26-statement-part-time-793234.aspx
  16. I have no doubt there would have been a phoenix club, it's done Chester City the World of good, they're having higher attendences in lower divisions than they had when they were in the league, but I can't say I'm not happy supporting ickle Owdum now. It's never phased me that we're not a successful club, that we don't get 12k through the gates of our 4 sided stand, that we're not fashionable or that we're not in the greedy league with the rest of the soulless corporate soccer franchises. In fact I rarely give it an inkling of thought. Bury away made me realise something, we're not footballing giants, we're not making history, we're barely keeping the Wolves at the door, but days like that remind you just why you fall in love with football, why you fall in love with your club and why you shiver your arse off watching us draw against Walsall in an almost empty ground in February. Paralysed neck down? Well some might say, we will find a brighter day.
