Because football won't be its chief means of income IE TTA recouping losses.
It has been said, this is already known but I bet most people aren't fully aware.
Just a thought now but has anyone considered that if we slung the away fans out then the atmosphere in the Rocky Road End wouldn't be half as good as it is on your average match day?
I think what you are trying to say is Johnson would receive a lot of praise for doing a good job?
That really goes without saying, do you think the pressure would be on Moyes if United were top of the League?
Every time a mate has come and there's been a good atmosphere, they've wanted to come again. And whilst the effect on the players is debatable, there's surely a confidence boost. If I was a player, I'd want vocal fans.
Corney IS the club right now. People who want him to go are assuming he'd leave us with the ground and land after losing millions on our 'ickle football club. Common sense tells you that's not going to happen = extremely risky unprofitable business = no ground & no club.
There is no decent or sensible argument against safe standing. It's fool proof. The only reason someone else would oppose it would be that they're so bothered about someone in a different part of the ground being vertical whilst they are sat down. If we did put one in, how big would the area be? Hold 200? 400? 600+?
Glasgow Rangers? They were always simply "Rangers FC".
Anyway, they're the continuation of Rangers. The same team in my eyes, as with Aldershot, Wimbledon, Chester etc.
Apparently there was one on tuesday?! I'm not a fan of this ultra stuff but all this "people in the Chaddy were so very shaken" bollocks goes through me, perhaps you're probably better suited at home with a blanket and a half of shandy watching Blue Peter.
