Was at The Griffin last time which was very close to the away end... Think The Royal Oak is the other corner of the away end. The New Inn is the other side of the stadium?

We have 10 games in that period? Ok well I'll be happy the contribution he gives us gets 15 points from those games, himself to get a few goals and to hopefully get a few of the other players regularly scoring...

Even if that's the case, 4 months with a player who really wants to do well is better than none! If he plays really well and gets snapped up by another club so be it, at least we have got a good few points and goals from him. If he plays average lets sign him up for the rest of the season. If he plays crap we won't extend. He might even decide after 4 months he wants to stay, some of our better players don't leave the club even though they may be able to get better offers because they like the team - Hopefully that's the case anyway...

MEN confirmed that first. Expect him to be straight into the team tomorrow, from what I've seen of him in the past he is a class player.

4 months to prove he's worth the money and I'm sure an extension for the rest of the season would follow if he was any good.

Are you sure? I've never heard of this rule before and sure I've seen players be recalled and play for their team. I've don't it several times myself on Football Manager (not that I'm saying that's proof...)
