I think the next month (or so) will be the most important this season. Got some difficult games coming up and also have the hassle of players possibly leaving (loan or signing for other teams) and maybe coming into the team. If we can get to the end of January and still have decent form then I will be a very happy fan!

I've got my graduation the day before in Reading and I'll be staying in London that weekend so I'll be there! Never been to Charlton's ground before even though my girlfriend a couple of miles away.

Pretty sure you can sign free agents at any time! Cisak has been the best keeper we have had in years, and while I think competition would be good for him... not sure if it is worth the financial cost?

Just created a new twitter account @dbouzanis43 and sounds to me like he may of travelled with the team to Bournemouth today? Also wesolowski14 tweeted: @dbouzanis43 our new goalkeeper. Quality keeper. Shocking banter. #oafc Could create some strong competition between him and Cisak, hopefully not asking for too much wage wise. Seen a few postings about him already on here, but no contract seems to be signed yet! Perhaps get him on a 6 month contract?

If they stay at this level though for their career and retire in their early 30s, or even if they last until their late 30s perhaps in a lower league, that £36k won't seem like much. I'm going to be on around £23,000 on a graduate level job (when I get one) and then will probably be around £40,000 by my early-to-mid 30s. Then I still have another 30+ years of my career! Most of these footballers won't have any skills they can transfer to a traditional job when they retire from football and probably only about 1% of them move into coaching, management or anything else related to football (e.g. TV), so their money won't last long! Quite a few of the young Oldham lads seem to be going to Uni alongside their studies so maybe they will have something to fall back on! /rant

Not sure it would be worth £10m... but could be called something like 'Lloyds TSB St James' Park', that would be the best of both worlds (or the least undesirable option if a sponsors name has to be in the stadium name

It seems mad changing the name of such an established stadium. I see no problem in selling naming rights to new stadiums (e.g. Emirates Stadium - that significantly increased the image and presence of the company) but who's seriously going to call St James Park the Sports Direct Arena or whatever it will be known as. £10m is a lot of money to make from sponsorship but I doubt it would be worthwhile for a sponsor.

A few of those on target were tapped in by Kuqi, shows how important it is to have someone with the ability to follow up on other peoples shots. Plus we hit the woodwork at least a few times, a little better accuracy and it could have been 5 - 1! Keep up the good work and playing exciting football!

Next year!

I would love a trip to Wembley. Saw Bristol Rovers win promotion there a few years ago (as a neutral) and was a great day out. Also pretty sure I saw a JPT final in old wembley, but I'm too young to remember who actually played! Would be a dream for us to get to play there! Also would probably make the trip up north for the area final if we got that far, although depends when it was!

Good luck to the lads today. Hoping for us to keep improving, build up some momentum! Would take a point from tonight though, and no injuries!

Don't we have a clause in his contract to extend it for another year if we want? I hope we can have him for a few seasons, while the young players get some experience!

I think Cisak needs a bit of recognition too! MK had a clear goalscoring chance towards the end when the ball was played over our back four and (luckily) Cisak made the right call to come out and grab the ball. Also a couple of the shots today which he saved I could've seen Brill letting in! Looks like we may have a quality keeper!
