Cannot believe some people are preferring we should start without Wes for Tranmere....Absolutely Crazy, looks a lot leaner, and did his job well today, for me MOM. If he's not in the side, who is their to do his job and get the dirty work done?, i think wes allows korey to push forward and do his job much more effectively, giving us a better balance. If anything, despite the prospect, the way to bring Baxter back into the team would be to swap him a JCH, but onto days performace, i dont think you can. stick with the same 11, although i want baxter in my team, Johnson got it right today, and im sure he wont change it

Today was quite simply Awesome, brought the Mrs to her first ever English football Match ( Shes Spanish ), and what a game to introduce her to the latics. Anyway, i just knew at 1-0 down, we were going to come back, we just looked a much better side. the two goals we conceeded 2nd half were very very poor, and it is something that needs to be addressed. Mellor may not be a centre half, but i admire what Johnson is trying to do at getting a ball playing centre half, like how the defence, would get back to basics and be happy to start again to relieve the team of any pressure they were under. it was very much key to how we began our attacks Big mentions certainly go to Drayton, McDonald and for me Corey Smith, who is such a cool head under pressure on the ball. Anyway, 3 points is a brilliant Start, not a perfect performance defensively, but we are going to score alot of goals if we continue like this, looking forward to see how we fare against the likes of Peterbrough and Wolves but overall a game with many many positive and gives LJ something to work on for future games Up the latics......

Really Hope the young lad can get his Chin up and crack on after this incident. I honestly thought Adeyemi had a really good game, got into some excellent positions and didnt mind taking a touch to get the ball down and play to feet, while a couple of players looked very rushed at times on the ball.....same goes with Keiran Lee, though he was another of a few who, despite the quality infront of him still had the composure to get the ball down and play to feet. In Regards Liverpool Football Club, lets get it straight, Not all, but a large majority of them are bloody odd folk, sometimes i dont think their all there but as mentioned above cant blame all the fans because its simply not the case....but i think if we would have played pretty much any other club tonight, this incident wouldn't have happened because I think most fans would think that it is common sense after what has happened in recent weeks with Suarez.....you simply would not go and play the Racist card....Common Sense... Then it being Liverpool......... Dont care, how he got on at latics,some people were a disgrace but weve been in this division for 10+ years, so the memories are what latics fans generally look back on these days, rather than what if..... The goal against colchesters is one of the best moments ive had at BP, that was the second i though were going up, (obviosuly we didnt, but that goal gave us all some hope if im nt mistaken that game was a 6 pointer) others include John Eyre - QPR and Scotty Vernon, v City.
