Is Paul Black even definitely on trial? Couldn't he just be playing for the reserves to keep his fitness up whilst he's looking for another club? Makes sense as he has been with the club for years

I know that Diallo was far from great but it just shows how poor I thought Paul Black was. His positioning is some of the worst I've seen from a full back in a Latics kit. When he got forward his crosses in we're dreadful (which Diallo was a lot better at) and even defending he was far from any good.

I see that he's on trial tonight for the reserves after being released recently by Watford. Personally never seen him play but looks like he's play a few games here and there for Watford who are a good Championship side and are Premier League bound. Would anyone take him?

Was reading up on this Curtis Jones on a Bristol City threads and a few don't seem to mind him at all and are on about him possibly going into the first team squad. He was at Stockport and then signed for Celtic, he stayed there for three years until he was scouted by Bristol City and signed

If we lose him it's not like it would be a massive loss anyway, he's decent but not amazing. If we want to try and make it anywhere near the play-offs we need a 20 goal a season man like Paddy Madden etc and Smith won't be able to score like that

For me, personally, Baxter in for Simpson and Mellor put out on the left wing. It's a difficult decision to make but Baxter has to be in that starting XI! He is our best player and our playmaker!

Croft has been one of the best players this season for putting 100% in at every game, definitely want him to stay!

We have no other option but to start him really! But heard he has been doing really well so give him a chance to shine!

There is no chance he will be leaving, I know that he loves it here. And he will want to stay with us to see if we can really push on next season

It will be: Bouzanis Reid/Smith Byrne M'Voto Grounds Croft Reid/Smith Wes Simpson Baxter Barnard Absolutely buzzing that Connor Brown has been dropped and I want nothing more for him to nt even be part of the club. Byrne has more experience than Tarky for the run in so makes sense. Going for Preston 1-2 Oldham

Even though I like both of the keepers I would like someone who is a little more reliable as a number 1. Would like to keep: - M'Voto - Grounds - Tarkowski - Croft - Wesolowski - Baxter Definitely get rid of: - Brown (unreliable and constantly switches off) - Byrne (getting on a bit and injuries starting to kick on, possibly try and keep in some kind of coaching role) - Smith (if he wants to go, let him go, he isn't anything special) And without doubt Robbie Simpson, only shows up in the big games and can't fit into the squad in his position Obviously, not included loan players because they will be going back to their teams but none of them have really set the world alight anyway

Werent we linked with Ben Parker coming but he turned us down and was then released? With Corney and Dickov annoyed at how footballers like him aren't bothered about actually playing football. If it is the same player I think it is, the one that was at Leeds? Then he's awful, seen him a couple of times and wasnt great at all. Maybe he is more suited at this level though! Wouldn't put him ahead of Grounds but possibly may go into the team ahead of Connor Brown
