    We can cope with the loss of Defender during the game, could go 3 at the back and ask Croft and Obita to also play much much deeper. Scoreline dependent really.

    They are decent additions to the squad, but no-one is un-droppable. If you have an ineffective game as CI did against Pompey then your position must be reviewed if there are other genuine options.

    After Pointon scored my memory was... - Sharpy missing an absolute sitter with a couple of minutes to go to finish them off. - Looking at the United end and seeing the "WEMBLEY" seat pattern as so many reds had gone home.. - Asking my brother-in-law how long left - looked down to see him raise 1 finger for 1 minute. - looking up to see Hughes shatter us. - being stuck in the Wembley car park with Reds goading us... - deciding to be positive and that we'll "do them" in the replay.....yeah right.

    The exodus will start from 4.15pm without a doubt, daft idea. Should have sold up to 1500 (4800 less 3300 ST holders) joint Portsmouth/Everton tickets this week also. No doubt the car park will be gridlocked after the game also with people blocked in by people still queuing.
