    I know its a long time ago but Latics sold tickets up to mid-afternoon of the Everton 1st replay back in 1990.

    Probably to shoe-horn Chelsea's match into the schedules, even though only five 5th round games were supposed to be shown - i'm sure rules can be bent to appease 'big' clubs.

    Nothing to suggest to me Everton (a) will be over subscribed so no need for voucher. Would leave next to no time for an open sale also. They might well hand out a voucher still against Portsmouth in the event of a QF -v- Wigan.

    Leighton Baines had one of our shirts at FT, so another fine in the offing ? Ridiculous, wholesale cost to the club for these shirts will be peanuts... as proved at end of season when they're flogging them off for a fiver.

    I reckon we might go with an extra midfielder (Furman) to give Croft more support against Baines & Pienaar. With Baxter behind just Barnard. Smith on for the last 30 mins if needed. We shall see.

    Can anyone remember the exact game a fan (who was sat near to me in the Lookers) marched on to the pitch to stage a sit-down protest on the half-way line. It was either under Sharpy in 96/97 or Colin 97/98...

    Still gives a clear 5 or 6 hour gap before kick off, so might be a chance? Though they would have to be strict with the ID offered.
