    That's because most of the teams are shite, a little bit of organisation and a couple of decent players will see you do well.

    The squad has a total imbalance to it, Unsworth and Thompson have to shoulder most of the blame. We need to see out this season and hopefully Mellon(who I have confidence in) sort out the playing squad.

    Agreed re Mellon, I have every confidence he is the man to take us forward, he will be aware of who he needs to get rid of by now, and it will be quite a long list.

    Hobson came on for Gardner so we pushed McGahey into midfield alongside Sheron (shudders).

    4 across the middle, Hope (couldn't pass a ball to a team mate, Green (words fail me) Sheron (can put a tackle in but never looks forward for a pass) and Gardner (worked hard and the only one capable of doing something).

    What a lovely football side Mickleover are. In terrible conditions they played some great 1 touch, close passing and showed heart and desire all over the pitch, I wasn't arsed about us winning the penalty shoot out they would have deserved to go through.

    I don't mind doing away days travelling on my own, you're not tied in to what other people want to do, always strike up a conversation with fellow Latics fans or other teams supporters on the train, and the rougher parts of town boozers are always full of characters.
