    It was a sad day when it was built! The old Broadway Stand was full length and you could stand in it and not get wet! We won the Ford Sporting League, Tranmere came second and they build their main stand with second prize. Full length and a good size. I remember the frame work for the Lookers stand being erected and recall the horror when it was only a 2/3 stand. It was ugly. Glad it has gone.

    He is a big risk, unproved since his release and mostly unfit. Yep, he is suitable for the Scottish Leagues. After all, Dundee are a big draw.....yawn.

    I re-joined as well but it was not trouble free. I had to make several requests to chase my application, lots of dubious excuses - it all seems to be a bit of a muddle. But I have my card now (duplicated recently) but notice that the big prizes seem to have gone to big names. I do hope that it is not another example of the 1960's when the Christmas Hamper was always won in-house!

    Wow, just watched all three... don't really know what to say. Don't know who you are, or what your job is, but I have just watched TV or vids or whatever that have quite shocked me. Top top quality. The first two are of a type that could easily win a prize. Well done. Almost life changing for me.

    Just watched his goals on the Fishul site, 5 of 'em, mostly long range belters with his left peg, one long range right peg and a couple of 5 yarders with his left.. but he was in the box to bag them. He looks OK.

    In the early 1970's Manchester United where relegated from the old First Division. Their football was poor. Their crowds? Less than 20k, a quarter of what they get now. The answer? Attractive and succesful football.

    In addition to the above, when Ken Bates was Chairman he introduced a free massive programme....if you went into the Rochdale Road End, just past the turnstiles you could find masses of programmes that you just pick up and take away.. the terraces were littered like the 82 bus littered with Metros.

    If the guy does it in the first team..who cares about training? Conversely, are we only going to play yes men and those who train hard? What has happened to skill? I guess it is down to man management.... and dare I say that is why so few came through via Mr Urmson.

    Why bother? Allessandra for me... played in the Reserves, loads of talent stick with what we have.

    Because of changes to reserves kick-off times etc., I only saw him play for the stiffs v Stalybridge at the start of the season. Only him and Lomax stood out amongst an average bunch. I never saw anything in him except that he was semi-decent. Never a real challenger for a first team spot... But.... at First Team level he was simply awsome. His rate of improvement was astonishing. If he continues to improve he is without doubt a potential International.
