I don’t think they’ll ever get rid, the cost would be enormous. One thing I don’t get though, is why them horrible wooden seats haven’t been ripped out and replaced with blue plastic like the rest of the ground. Would be more comfy and make it look a bit smarter.

OK but wouldn't the "main stand moaners" miss the protruding nails ?  👨‍🦳

I'd love it if you could help me out here and name a few of the "plenty" that will come and play for us in the National League for the next couple of seasons.....

No supporter would reject an upgrade in any of our players, it's the progressive thing to do, but until those better players actually sign we need to shelve the pointless criticism of certain players.

There are at least three positions we need to strengthen before we address the shortcomings of Sheron or the goalies.

The stats back up what we can all see. Away when we play on break and don’t have to pass or create and can dink balls forward we are ok. At home when we need to pass and create we can’t. Our midfield is terrible, yesterday the movement was non existent. They can’t pass it about so we can’t pin teams in as we loose it. Front two also culpable as hold up play is dead. The number of times freeman or mcgahey had no options to pass to was a joke and when they did we got one pass at best more before we lost it. All 4 in the middle need replacing, bar possibly Gardner and when we do sort that out we’ll control games and win more often at home. As for now we’ll be best sitting back and playing on break.

Think Lundstrom would definitely fit into our midfield with at least one possibly two additions. He retains the ball well and is an excellent crosser so may be OK on the right of a midfield three.

  4. Obviously very disappointing today. We looked tired and, as Gardner was one of the ones who didn't turn up, short of ideas.

Green showed little urgency ( could be playing with an injury? ) more or less refusing to take his man on and Norwood and Fondop way off the pace so very little threat up front.

Maybe the two long away trips took more out of them than we thought but credit to Ebbsfleet who played very well, albeit without much opposition.

Cheers Monty 😀 When we thrashed West Ham 6-0 in the semi 1st leg (and Neil Adams ran Julian Dicks a merry dance) I got home to find I`d been burgled - seriously burgled. The thieves had used a van and took much of my furniture as well. The police, however, grew very suspicious of my report because I was pacing up and down and couldn't stop smiling. After a few minutes, the 2 officers looked me straight in the eye and one asked me why I seemed so happy following such a traumatic crime. My reply was, "We've just stuffed West Ham 6-0 mate in the first leg of the semi-final - who wouldn't be happy?!" I slept on my living room floor that night as the burglars had taken both my beds. Happy days indeed!

Were they called Pickford ? :getmecoat:
