  1. Rochdale havent had more than 3000 fans at a game this season, why they couldnt give us half of another stand is beyond me especially as we sold our allocation out a month before the game, its not like they havent had enough time to sort it, when the inevitable trouble happens they only have themselves to blame. Its totally incomprehensible that this has been allowed to happen
  2. £16 x remaining home games would be fair, a lots been said about them not offering as people may wait in the future but we need to think about now our form could tail away just as easily as it has improved get the money in the bank while you can I'd say.
  3. Could of had 20's last week and Notts County were the same.
  4. Really Etheridge debut with Kusunga and Dieng in front ??? Whose gonna organise in that team ?
  5. Think we may be in the top 3 followings in the country next week nevermind League 1.
  6. Im sure they didnt want him getting a shot away on his strongest foot running into the area, the fact Mills decided it was time to do the riverdance was what caused the goal, the keeper should of done better but having a free run on goal and shot on goal was the real problem for me.
  7. Looking at the match stats yesterday Sheffield United only commited 7 fouls, tells you all you need to know about the refs inability to give us a decision, of those 7 fouls 5 resulted in yellows for very cynical hacks, that means they only commited another 2 fouls in the whole of the 96 minutes, what a load of tosh.
  8. Using your logic every keeper should make every save then ? Since he came in at the back end of last season we have conceded 26 goals in 28 league games so he must be doing something right, he has his flaws and they are well documented but you wont find a keeper with a better goals to games ratio in this league barring Roy Carroll and he is Championship class at least, for the budget we have he is more than adequate its our failure to score and kill off teams when on top thats killing us not our keepers performances.
  9. Shot stopping isnt his weakness we have conceded probably as few goals than any team in the division from inside the box he has made some great saves and kept us in games especially away from home this season 20 goals in 18 games is up there with the best records in the division so things need to be kept in context.
  10. Then you would get a straight red, the problem I have is he took no end of roughing up yesterday got zero protection from the ref yet went in the book for two of the most innocuous challenges ive seen. As for their captain he should be ashamed of himself it was a tough encounter very physical but largely fair, proper homer ref who seemed to struggle with consistency in his decisions spoiled it a little but the fact we still come away with a point is very pleasing.
  11. He could take some of the blame but for me Mills allowed him to get the shot away when he should of showed him inside, to balance things up a little here I thought he kept us in it early on with a couple of decent saves, his handling was good and he did particularly well with the high ball, distribution was decent and he started off plenty of attacks, he does have weakness picking up the 25-30 yard digs and Im sure he is aware of this but for me he is doing a good job. As for the new lad he has had one run out against Morecombe reserves and let 4 in so be careful what you wish for.
  12. Why do we appear to sit in when we go in front ? We have done it all season especially away from home we go in front then reign it in it baffles me, we are not good enough to hold onto one goal leads for over an hour.
  13. Lets be honest if we beat Crawley and Gills at home we have a chance, dont mind the draws away but have to beat the chaff at home.
  14. My feeling is the ref was so poor the team should be applauded for hanging on it was literally 10 v 12 saying that we battered them for an hour and should of been out of site.
  15. I totally agree but its odds on something will be sang like it has all season at Bramhall Lane.
  16. Suspect you will hear a couple today wont start any off myself but its going to happen, popular with league 1 fans this season is She said no Ched, She said no She said no Ched, She said no She said no Ched, She said no Oh Ched she said no.
  17. Yes he is a luxury we cant afford but he must be showing enough when he is fit to warrant being around the first team, suspect he will be given every chance but the club cant afford to spend no end of money trying to get him going.
  18. It will be at Sheffield, we had the drum at Bradford last season and again at Chesterfield where we will have a similar crowd tomorrow other than for those who hate the drum I dont think its done any harm, I agree if theres a game you wouldnt need it this season it will be at Dale.
  19. May get another 50 or so, I think most of those going will have made an effort to buy in advance, still 1200 - 1300 is a fair following especially with Rochdale next week.
  20. I can only assume as this has happened on more than one occasion this season that the home team want an idea of how many are going to travel, the stand we are in has a capacity of around 5500 so to advertise the game as ALL TICKET seems a bit of a joke, it seems to be the way its going now though but I do not see the logic in it, some fans always leave it till the last minute weather and work are probably two of the main factors and for me the way these games are being advertised gives the wrong impression and may lead to some fans just not bothering.
  21. Just to let everyone know Rochdale are going to be quite strict at the turnstiles next Saturday we are not allowed the drum or any kind of flags and banners, if any are found they will be confiscated just want to let people know to save any hassle on the day.
