  1. Was a quick search on soccerbase. No idea if that is a reputable site or not.
  2. and someone bought him for 2 mill not long after. Shite.
  3. When on form one of the best of his types in league one. Fitness an issue and I hear from staff he isn't well liked or respected (non playing side). I'd prefer him to Clarke but can only be one of them in the side. One is a model pro and one seems like he may be more trouble now than he is worth.
  4. A lot of that time spent on the bench in the championship though no? In the case of O'grady since 2014 he has played for Sheff United, Notts Forrest, Brighton (who paid 2mill for him) and Burton. At a guess most of that will have been in the champ and bar Burton he was not a regular. Not like he has been playing 36 games a season in the league 2. He's clearly not been great for Chesterfield but given the clubs he has been at and that the coaching staff have worked with him I'll back him to do well.
  5. Miller has scored as many goals as Ernie Cooksey last two seasons, I can't even see that he had a club last season. Why people are more impressed with him I don't know. O'Grady is an upgrade on Holloway for me. Millers last goal was in December 2015 from what I can see. Time to start backing this lot. We all feared truck loads of African lads coming in not giving a fuck but clearly Bunn has been able to get a few of his lads in. They're no Doyle or Bryan but we're in the bottom division now.
  6. Left us and played a lot of championship football. Decent signing, better goal scorer and target man than Holloway and will not have cost the earth. Known to the coaching staff. Makes us look a more solid side. Stop fucking moaning.
  7. You have though love. We could do this all night but I presume you've got things to do, like check if any lazy twat postmen are moaning about their jobs on MySpace.
  8. Just had a look. Gardner is 28, played about 120 league games at the most. Been in the football league since 2014. One of the good guys. If you think someone like him isn't affected by missed wages you are mental.
  9. I'm talking about the people on here having a massive issue with it. Missed my point, perhaps?
  10. Depends if your a soppy soft cunt. It's 2018, people complain via social media daily. How do we know these players have not raised their concerns internally before? Davies had a good deal on offer, Wellens wanted him to go, the new owner said no. It affected his performance and once he left he had a pop. AL to blame as much as anyone there.
  11. Probably done the best in the game club wise. Even if he can have a break it doesn't mean he hasn't got financial commitments does it? You think Fane and Gardner are mortgage free? Nepo high rolling in a new country? Come on ffs.
  12. His post suggests the late wages would not play a part in affecting their performance. I say it 100% would. It would make you question the clubs future and make you look elsewhere, as it would in any industry, especially when on a fixed term contract. Some of them are just cunts, fair play. Not having that the off field didn't affect things. To think money doesn't affect players on £60k a season is mental.
  13. This is total bollocks. These lads are on £2k a week on at best 23 month contracts. They are not on the sort of money where they can afford to have wages late month after month. Salt of the earth proper bloody good blokes like your Brian Wilson's etc won't their mortgages paying on time. I agree we have some cunts but please don't think people like Gardner Clarke and Hunt won't be fucked off with the wages shambles.
  14. If your on £2k a week, 10 month deal, one or two kids and a mortgage you don't think late wages would affect your attitude to your work? The main blame for relegation rests with the twats we have had running the club. In league one you are one bad injury from playing semi pro or not at all. Can't blame the players for putting the boot in to be honest.
  15. Don't worry lads, the trust will save us if the shit hits the fan................
  16. Not in any area I have worked in. I work across agencies and mins are never done this way.
  17. Didn't show a glimpse of anything though. At his age he would have known it was his last chance. Slower than Gerrard and as creative as Fane. Bin.
  18. Didn't show anything for me. Back to a semi pro level. Good luck to him. Blew his shot at the big leagues. Move on.
  19. Glad you cleared that up, I presumed you meant in length and girth.
  20. He didn't force him to play him. He let him have the option. He chose to play two inferior players to make a point, this helped contribute to our relegation. Not sure your going to be able to comprehend this from previous posts. I am not saying JP was brilliant. Just stating an OWTB fact that he is and always will be better than the two dopes Shez picked.
  21. AL clearly didn't make him play him. He just signed him. Shez chose to play two players not as good in goal to make a point. That point will have cost us points leading to him losing his job and us going down. If you think those two are better than JP you must have taken as many drugs as your name sake.
  22. Only because they played less. Placide is far better than the other two. Not playing him from the start may well have cost us that vital point or two. Sheridan is far from blameless in our relegation.
