It's officially The Boleyn ground at Upton Park, but those cockneys have been getting all emotional about the place these last few weeks and for some reason the Media have jumped on the bandwagon too. Can't remember all this fuss about Burnden Park or Filbert Street?
I think the club should take a look at the goings on at Millwall on Saturday and think that the behaviour of fans at Fleetwood wasn't so bad after all.
Hardly helping us out then, stir up some :censored: then :censored: off to the pub whilst those left behind cop for the afters. They should concentrate on having a row at Raith Rovers in their own pointless league.
Now as I consider myself to be a normal human being with half a brain I don't use Twitter, but after having a quick look at Gerrards Twitter page I couldn't help noticing his exchange with @regan75, what a wazzock that bloke is.
They should put up more of a fight though even if only for the supporters that were up at the crack of dawn to follow them down there. Fair play to those fans, wouldn't get me down Millwall again.
Burton are a non league club that have risen very quickly so crowds will always be quite poor in my opinion. Similar to the likes of the old Wimbledon and Wigan in the 70/80s and now Fleetwood, folk in those towns have supported other teams/sports and will have regarded such teams as a second club.
Any suggestions where to go for a pre match pint tomorrow? Been a while since I last visited Blackpool and drove to Fleetwood last season so had no beer. We're getting the train, but not sure if Blackpool or Poulton is best?
I did check if it had already cropped up on here, missed that on the Walsall thread. Though probably wasn't expecting it to be there if I'm honest, off topic and all.
Sounds familiar? I wonder if it was the same meat head that was throwing punches when we were there? I hope so, he'll be getting bummed in Strangeways if the police charge and he's found guilty.
