Jonathan Forte joins Exeter City

Brought his own players in at Notts County. Had an embargo to contend with at first but eventually was allowed to sign about 5 players but they struggled to win under his management. Will be interesting to see how he does at Carlisle.

It’s not shit it’s fact but because a certain keeper had a great season for us the season before last does not mean he’s up to the mark now after a bad season with Burton and Bury. Also Dawson is a brilliant keeper. If you don’t believe me ask Sheffield Wednesday fans and Rhodes. However you like a lot of other supporters Bury your head in the sand. It’s my opinion on who I would rather have playing for us. I don’t fancy a keeper who has lost his confidence . Yes Mr Ripley was outstanding when he last played for us but he’s not the same player since he left us. That’s true fact so if you don’t believe me so be it.

That’s why we could get a better keeper than Ripley. To be honest I hope he goes to Carlisle and ships a load of goals like he did at Bury.

Having had the same operation I can assure you that it is dangerous to continue playing football with any kid of hernia. The sooner the operation is done the better. He would not have been able to play at 100% fitness if he had gone to the world cup

Well Tarkowski would not have been able to go anyway. He is recovering from an hernia operation at the moment.

This is a truly great thing to have done by our new owner. Gordon was a great personality and respected in the game. By giving Roy and Alan this award it shows how highly respected they are by AL. Nazon scored from a long throw by Hamer at the end of the season. Cannot remember which game but it was away from home. Hamer seems to be the only player who can throw the ball properly.
