I think Abdallah is just a front man negotiating and running things the way the new owner wants. I think we are in the interim period and he and Corney will be involved until it's finally agreed by all concerned especially the EFL. I would think Corney would pay all the bills until it's all been legally signed over. Then finally it will be reviled as to who the new owner is . Let's hope that the owner is the wealthy cousin of the owner of Man City. Then we will have no worries about paying bills for many years.

It's now that the club should be negotiating with their parent clubs to either buy or extend their loans come January. Like you say by January other clubs will be in for them with bigger offers. I hope we can keep both and Bryan who I think is under rated at the moment.

I was not slating him read it again I thanked him. However I seriously think he needs medical help at the moment and that is not slating him. Yes I hope he comes back when he's got his head together. He had lost respect in the dressing room and playing players out of position and goal keepers that are crap when he had a top goal keeper on his board is damn right negligent. It's like a doctor deciding to let his receptionist treat you rather than himself.

Byrne was not a Shez signing it was a Wellens recommended signing. Neither was Placide. So much so he was convinced that Placide had no part in his team. Placide will be a great star for Oldham Athletic. You cannot compare him to Ruddy or Wilson except it's a man with experience against young kids. So please all these people who are saying it's Shez team it's not. Also Wellens is playing players in their favourite positions, for example Bryan. This means they are more comfortable and relaxed playing their football and it shows. Yes we have a lot to thank Shez for over the years but football is a cut throat business. I seriously think he had lots of personal issues that we don't know about and a few things have been posted on here about his liking for drink especially over the last few weeks. If he has a drinking problem then there has to be reasons for it and this compounded with other problems meant that he lost focus. Thanks Shez for all you did as a player and manager, however I really think we have to move on now and support Richie Wellens. He's the manager in charge. Forget Shez and for god sake move on.

No you are correct and Placide takes too many risks at times. However in his first two games his distribution has been excellent to watch and he's made some great saves.

I am not knocking what Ripley did for us. I am stating that the weakness in his game was his distribution. He was brilliant in commanding his box and as a shot stopper, however if you go to a championship club to get more experience you have to be a good distributor of a ball and sadly being sat on the bench is doing him no favours. Even Carlo Nash stated that distribution was the weakness in his game and I am sure he would have worked with Ripley to improve that this season if he had come back to us

Listen when you have a goal keeper as good as Placide playing for us who is a great stopper and what's more a great distributor of a ball who needs Ripley. I think Ripley has shot himself in the foot because going to Burton and sitting on the bench is not going to improve his game and his distribution was shocking at times last season.

Shez's downfall was not to play Placide who is first class and to persist with Gerrard and Clarke together at the back. Also I might add that I think Wellens does more preparation and homework on the opposition. He seems to be a crafty bugger because he kept the Doyle situation boiling and they where not ready to see him play. Well done Richie good tactics.

Best football I've seen from an Oldham side in over 50 years for first 60 mins then we started to tire. Richie Wellens tack-tics where spot on. Lots of these players we have got are young kids so two games a week giving consistent performances is a big ask. Well done to the team they gave their all for the cause. May need to give some players a rest against Crewe. At least Gardner has two weeks to recover from his injury. Placide is in a different class to Ruddy and Wilson. I hope we can keep Doyle for the whole season the guys on fire. Let's hope we can push on from this great win , at least it gives everyone a boost of confidence.

He could bring Dummigan in again for Wilson he's definitely quicker than Gerrard

Last Saturday I was in Manila, Philippines but I usually watch it from Cebu Philippines. I have had good reception in Cebu but in Manila at Raffles I kept being told that I needed to upgrade even though I have full membership for the Philippines. The speed of internet at Raffles is fast so I doubt it being that.

If Shez has said that Ruddy did nothing wrong in today's game he needs sacking quickly. Ruddy is a liability. He must have been watching a different game to me. We need to bring in a defensive coach quickly someone like Peter Shirtlif.

Agree with most of that but Clarke and Gerrard are that slow now that any through ball cuts them into pieces. Dummigan is true to his name. Gets drawn out of position too often and makes dumb decisions

Well I think that's what he's doing trying to get sacked knowing the new owners have a bob or two. I know he saved us the last two seasons but he had just been sacked and needed a job. He's not had any loyalty to the club ever since he got the sack after the Dogs incident.
