Wilson, Clarke, Stott, and Hunt should be the back four

Hoping he's done the decent thing and resigned.

Pissed off today. Missed most of first half because it kept coming on saying I needed to upgrade even though I have a full membership. I sent them a stinking email and it suddenly came on. After 5 mins it went off again and I sent another email. It then came on again for another 5 mins then went off again saying I needed to upgrade. I then sent a third email and managed to see all of the second half but it's not a very good service. In fact it's crap.

You forget Gerrard and Clarke hardly played together last season. Gerrard was out injured for the biggest part of the last 20 games. The defence was Wilson , Clarke and Stott

I would think that is days are numbered. Once Corney goes then Sheridan will go. We desperately need a defensive coach to sort this mess out. Pity Stott is not match fit. Gerrard and Clark is not working. Last year they hardly played together due to Gerrard being injured. It was Stott that helped keep us up with exceptional goalkeeping from Ripley

This goalkeeper is hopeless and no wonder the defence in front of him are making mistakes he instilled no confidence and does not command his area. He is as bad if not worse than Wilson.

We are loosing games by more than two goals every week. We need to get in an experienced goal keeper and play the players that kept us up in defence at the end of last season and that did not include Gerrard. Edmundson and Stott gained lots of experience in non league last season and came back much better players. It's time we gave these guys a chance and give them their confidence back. Yes there is money in the Checkatrade however we need to start winning games and getting a settled side together and that means shoring up the defence. Christ our defence is like a leaky old sieve.

Sorry guys I am getting mixed up I was referring to the Checkatrade trophy. Yes I would like to see Clarke in the middle of Edmundson and Stott. Gerrards mobility is getting worse. Yes he has lost pounds but with it he has also lost any pace he had. Shez needs to wake up because it's not just midfield where there are huge cracks. For god sake please play Hunt at left back . I cannot understand a manager who is experienced unsettling his side by playing his best players out of position. I watched the game last Saturday on my IPhone from Cebu City in the Philippines and had no problems the picture was perfect , only pity was the game was crap.

What signings Shez has stated there is no chance of anyone signing soon. We all know we are missing a quality goalkeeper, a scorer of goals like Erwin, and two midfielders who are prepared to run into spaces and create play. Unless Mr Corney gets out his cheque book we will truly die with this team. There must be talented players who we could get on a season loan and there are still experienced goalkeepers without a club. Come on Simon dig deep and get us out of this mess. Fane and Banks should be loaned out to a division 2 club for a season.

It would be an interesting experiment to play Edmundson and Stott in the EFL Checkatrade trophy.

Everyone is going on about how great Baxter WAS when he last played for us a truly gifted ball player, BUT NOW can we say he will be the same?????. However how many seasons ago was that, that he was last at BP????? Did he do anything special in his last season playing for Sheffield United????? Would the Sheffield United fans praise him as much as his worshipers on this forum???? Should we take a massive risk on a player now unfit and missing from the game for 18 months????? We have to this day only had one player, who played for us, who was addicted to a substance and that played out of his skin for us. About 9 whiskys and he played like magic. Thousands filled BP to watch him because of his magic with a ball and that was the late great BOBBY JOHNSTONE. Now he was a player worthy of mention. To be honest Baxter is not one hundredth as good as him and never will be.

Erwin any day . Although Baxter has outstanding talent he used to go missing for long periods of a game. Also he seems to be addicted to a certain drug so can we trust him???? It would be a massive risk.

I agree they had a great team at the time but if you compare him to Ripley, then 5 of the goals that he let in, Ripley would have saved easily. One goal was a wonder goal and I don't blame him for that. Amos is no better than Dean Brill these days. If he was any good Bolton would have retained him. If a goal keeper looses confidence then its difficult sometimes to get it back.

I hope we don't sign him his awareness of the ball is abismal and he does not command his goal area. He could not get a game at Bolton because how bad a keeper he has become. He is no better than Dean Brill.

Ben Amos is crap. He has never been any good and I remember him lettin in 6 when he played on loan for us against Southampton. Most of the goals where due to his bad judgment. We don't need him back.

I see John Ruddy has not found a new club yet ex Norwich City. He would be a brilliant signing as goalkeeper and hes still only 30 years old
