  1. I wish I shared it that confidence , although you are right. 2-1 Latics with the usual coronary episodes at the end
  2. I don’t think he would have even managed that. We would have stood off from York and let them get round us. Potentially we would have got something from Oxford, maybe 3 or 4 points from those 2. Kidderminster we would have folded - I went and al thought we were under pressure for good parts of the game there was a different spirit about us. Wealdstone ? no chance. Just my opinion of course but after his first 9 games this season with no signs of improvement, we weren’t getting much from the next 4 with DU.
  3. I think if Gardner and Lundstram could stay fit and form some kind of a partnership it would help with the current issues of service to our strikers. Gardner isn’t going to stay fit though and therefore I think we need to locate a similar midfielder asap. I’m in two minds about letting fondop go, he can always pop up with a goal and he is physically the strongest of all the forwards we have .
  4. I agree with most of this although i disagree Kidderminster played us off the park, we were up against it for parts of the game, but we had plenty of chances to win it which we did. I only saw Wealdstone highlights but everyone is saying we were lucky. Our ball retention still worries me, a legacy from DU tactics which needs changing asap. ST started positively enough and York was a breath of fresh air after watching us under Unsworth, probably looked better than we actually were after enduring that tripe. I don’t think we can realistically measure whether ST will be suitable or not yet but win the next two and I think he will get it, inferior opposition or not, we’ve struggled against most opponents anyway over the last year.
  5. I’m not sure the recruitment was fully completed before DU went . Think we were still short of a full back and defender
  6. I’m sure ST definitely alluded to him and Redfern looking at bringing players “to help”, sounds like loans to me but what do I know
  7. Win Tuesday and again Saturday it’d be hard not to give it Thompson but they may already be on the verge of getting someone else in. Who knows
  8. I agree. Was a hard game Tuesday and I knew this would be too, but we’ve got to find a way to take points from every game .
  9. I’m not watching today but if the issue is midfield again then bring bloody Lundstram on
  10. Wealdstone away and I’m biting my bloody nails, what have we sunk to
  11. Looks ok that, cover front middle and back on the bench , just hope Lundstram comes on soon into the game
  12. Yes, I never got over getting past Fulham the other year only to end up at bloody Doncaster .
  13. I know I should be but I can’t be arsed with it. Fixated on the league
  14. Be a tough test, but be brilliant if we can pick up 3 points
