I'm down to the last 20 bangers and need some more votes so I don't have to keep parking my battered old K reg citroen next to the players' snazzy black Audis and BMWs - even the trainees have tinted windows and alloy wheels! My citroen would run (like a proverbial bag of chisels) but it wouldn't tick over so I was juggling with the clutch and accelerator to keep it from cutting out. I took it in the garage and now it ticks over at about 3000 revs. Little old ladies next to me at traffic lights think I want a race when really i haven't even got my foot on the accelerator.
