heard from within the club that you'll be asked to sit in the rocky road end next season with an extra 20quid reduction off your season ticket, you'll be sitting in the big section.june is when the broadway will be coming down all being well,if this is old news i apologize,as i've had problems with the lap top.ktf.

Be happy with that - But what about the "big away following" games?. Dont want to move just cos we are playing Leeds or a big cup tie!!

Are you sure it's not the small section ?

I think the small section would be more understandable 1800, how many season ticket holders are there in the Lookers/Broadway/NSM?

take your sunglasses and rain coats you will need em in there either got the sun in your eyes or a storm off the irish sea grit blasting your face i know from experiance 92-94

oh and if your over 5ft 7 you will need shin guards to stop em getting wrecked on the back of the seat in front !

Most of us have sat in the lookers paddock for years, Noah would have had problems with the weather we've had to face in there, and this season has seen some of the worst.

You get rained on in the lookers upper sometimes.

thats the only problem, when the big away following comes,do they split you up and put half in the small section and the rest in the chaddy and mainstand or stick to giving away fans 1600 tickets, can't recall off the top of my head how many times the away following topped 1600 this season maybe 3or4 times?.ktf.

We got wet on the back row at the udders game :)

A simple solution would be an unreserved season ticket in the Rocky, and we would be moved from The big section to the Small one depending on how many away fans attend

That is why I asked the question ,

When the Lookers comes down capacity at BP will be approx 11,000 +/- of which 3000 is the large side of RRE = enough for 8,000 +/- Latics to be housed.

Not many times will 3,000 visitors fill RRE but more chances to fill 1,600.

IMO it will be easier to keep the smaller side of RRE for Latics , no messing with season tickets as in "You have to go there this week........" plus easier to move the visitors to and from the carpark , etc.

............tend to like walking in as they kick off knowing my seats there, mates I see each week are there.

Apart from Hudders (cup) Leeds can't think of any other game that we would have lost much revenue by restircting the away following to 1800 in the small section.

Remember the capacity will be reduced by a few thousand so giving 1800 places to away fans would be a resonsible % of capacity, not all from Lookers will want to be in the RRE but many who are currently in other stands may want to move into the RRE.

Big games we will be probally looking/hoping for around 8/9000 home fans and you have think along the lines that we will get a big home cup game, play-offs semis or even a home game to win the league. Because I believe that ST must be allocated seats the option of moving home fans between large section / small section wouldn't be possible.

Yep RRE easy to escort away fans to coaches etc . but room up top for the coaches is there.

Probally a suggestion that when the club announce details that a section for singers be allocated, this way people who don't want to be bothered by the singers / loud ones know to keep away from this section and I can keep away from them.

after speaking to Robin at the Tranmere game (granted this was a while back) I was under the impression the Lookers would be coming down around November time.

obviously this contradicts what you are saying Paul so I maybe wrong, but if Robin was correct, how feasable would it be to house the away fans in the Lookers, up until it gets demolished. Hopefully we will have played one or two big teams by November, and it would also leave the entire RRE for home fans. like i said I dont know how possible this would be but its an idea

Pretty sure the Lookers will not be used again after the last home game...even if it is November like you say, you've still got safety certificates to consider and there will probably be some sort of preparation required before the demolition can take place.

I think you can safely condem the stand to the history books come May.

Do you know something we don't, Mark? Do the club plan to do this? I have always thought that it is something the fans will have to sort out for themselves, rather than a club-driven scheme. Unless you have heard something?
