dean 1984
Athletic are confident tomorrow’s game will beat the freeze. A thaw is underway and, with temperatures set to rise to six degrees today and tomorrow, Athletic believe the pitch will be playable. Athletic are liaising with Sunderland-based referee Andy Haines and it is expected he will make an inspection early tomorrow before Northampton leave at nine o’clock. palmer1
the point is why would it possibly be off? the pitch has had ice and snow on it for the last few games (with covers) , and sheridan said on lw that the pitch does not look good , its rock hard. for the benefit of travelling fans it should be inspected
Tommy_Fent
imagine going all the way down to Northampton, to be told at 5 to 3 that the pitch was not playable?
OldhamSheridan
imagine going all the way down to Northampton, to be told at 5 to 3 that the pitch was not playable? That sounds quite good. All day drinking session somewhere different without having to watch us capitulate in the middle of it.
ghostofcecere
the point is why would it possibly be off? Look at the photo's of Gregan in the pink kit on a snow covered pitch, think about all the frost on the cars this morning this week and then do the maths! Diego_Sideburns
The pitch has been inspected and declared fit. It's covered against frost and no problems are anticipated. http://www.oldhamathletic.co.uk/page/NewsU...1556528,00.html
