play off final dates

Recommended Posts

I am sure I read somehwre that league one and league two are a week early this year. Is that correct?

According to www.football-league.co.uk...

Season ends for Leagues 1 & 2 on 2 May 2009 with the Championship ending 3 May - presumably for live TV coverage on that day.

Play-off semi-finals to be played between 8th & 17th May with the Finals at Wembley, as usual, over the late May Bank Holiday weekend.

League 2 Final - Saturday May 23rd

League 1 Final - Sunday May 24th (also last day of the Premiership)

Championship Final - Monday May 25th

I have a feeling that will have a baring on how many we take. Sure a load of people will stay and watch the last day of the premier league. Especially if the title comes down to the last day.

All premier league matches that day will kick off at 4 pm, so I expect the L1 play-off final to be at 1 pm.

So you can cheer Latics to promotion, and watch ManU f*** up at Hull!

:sick01: Bo***cks. I'm in bloody Ireland from 15th to 31st May. I wonder if the present Mrs Bristolatic will notice if I bugger off once or twice. How I  for automatic promotion. Oi, Franchise Dons, sod off out of our rightful place.

Now for someone of your learnings - that is a schoolboy error to make!

However, with your win/attendance record recently... i'm looking at that as a good luck sign!

I was really hoping you wouldn't mention that - what ya trying to do, get me a bad name? Mac & I will set the record straight with wins at Yeovil & Millwall and, just in case 3 points are desparately needed right at the death, I've managed to bugger up the Walsall game by booking theatre tickets for the same night, so that's a win in the bag.
