martjs
With so much doom and gloom on here today I'd like to hear some positives (serious or otherwise) about moving to a new stadium... I've got one: The end of the Chaddy v. Rocky debate (and the polls/votes associated with attempts to move from the Chaddy) Next.
LaticNik
Gives us sommat to moan about. Reassuring that we know best. Makes us feel really important. Highlights how fantastic the town of Oldham is. E4e NEMOR

thelaticsfan
better off financially, less neighbours to worry about upsetting, with more money comin into the club we will look a better prospect in the future for potential buyers should TTA ever leave, new facilities for local people, better than a groundshare, better looking site with a better car park

BigfinLatic
Pretty much everything about it. Mainly that it secures the future of our club. Anyone moaning will soon get bored of thier own self-importance and realise this is the only way they will have any club to support in 10 years time. The season will also start soon, and people will forget all about it... and then suddenly we will all be far too excited about all the positives of our new ground to give too hoots about the boring repetitive moans of people who do not really know any facts about what they are moaning about.. ... so again... back to my original point. Everything.

wozz_oafc
Easy to get to. For me anyway. Signs that Oldham Athletic are finally moving with the times with a modern stadium. Give everyone involved with the club a lift Maybe attract better calibre of players Easier to get back to Manchester from it. Could help the club actually have a long term future. The perfect size so it wont seem empty all the time. Enough room for extra fans if we become successful I dont know much about the area but it sounds like it is a regeneration project which must benefit those who live round there.
