Matt
Complete and combined managerial stats for Latics' managers, some of the dates are a bit sketchy. TMPI is something I've conjured up - it stands for Todays Money Points Index, it takes every single game as a points game; wins at 3pts and draws at 1pt, adds them together and divides by the games played. This then reports the TMPI: an average points per game figure. <previous file removed>

Stitch_KTF
Interesting document. I note JS is right up there, and DP right down there, despite their similar playing budgets, and despite JS having a greater injury burden during much of 2007/2008. I also note that, Wadworth aside (), Shez has the best record of our modern day managers. I suppose it's hardly surprising when you consider that Shez was sacked with us in 7th, with home crowds approaching 50% more than they are today. If only he didn't like the phrase 'no danger'..... We'll be in the bottom 4 come the halfway point, folks. Teams that can't score get relegated.

Stitch_KTF
Are you a Sheridan fan, Stitch? I can't quite tell. Of course, I'm a Latics fan. I suppose I'm the only poster on here who once opted to sponsor his kit as my birthday present?
Steve_R
Talbot had a better record than Moore. I know someone who wont like that.
rudemedic
Rummy you need to change it slightly Wadsworth's sums aren't right the number of games he was manager isn't enough you haven't included the draws. Interesting how some managers have done better than others in the same division despite being fired for their performance.
ste1987
Interesting stats there Rummy. Never realised Sheridan was so high up the list.
sausageroll
To be completely fair, I think you should order the managers by TMPI rather than Win% - which would at least lift Penney off the bottom of the permanent managers list

ghostofcecere
Talbot had a better record than Moore. I know someone who wont like that. That person doesn't seem to post on here anymore....... still I expect he will dispute it and post his opinion as fact! He's got under the skin of a few on the OAFC messageboard for doing the same thing
