Team of the decade

Recommended Posts

Just seen this on the official website about Beckett and Flynn being in the Stockport team of the decade.

Who'd be in Latics?

Quickfire, off the top of my head:

Grant, Eardley, Armstrong, Hall, Hill, Wellens, Sheridan, Croft, Porter, Wijnhaard, Eyres

budtz, arber, branston, clegg, aljofree, phil salt, rickers, parker, kenny cooper, lord kangana ndiwa, john eyre.

Probably a couple from the wrong decade in there but what a quality team that is. A match for anyone in the championship.

Always one :petesake:

:censored: & Murray would have to be at least on the bench. Hughes & Luke up tops.

Pav? He played for us for like 3 months last decade before getting crocked. Hardly one of our 11 best players between 2000-2009.

why are people picking Grant?

he wasn't fantastic for us and conceded poor goals in a fairly short loan spell

done OK since leaving us but it has to be Pogs for the record number of clean sheets surely

i'd say Rachubka was the best keeper we had this decade, but he was never our player so doesn't get in for me
