Here we go!!!

How much of a fan would you consider yourself?

Due to me being in the Navy and living in the south west i don't get to as many games as i wish i could, last season was 12 and i have been to 2 so far. So i suppose a loyal distant follower.

Do you think there are certain things a Latics fan should never do?

Yes they should never follow another team.

How do you react after a defeat?

Usually i'm gutted but i understand we are never going to win every game.

Whats the most important thing about the matchday experience the result or the day in general?

Just the opportunity to go to the games is good enough for me a win makes it all the more enjoyable.

If you were given £1,000,000 would you go and support your main rivals?

No never and i would even consider giving the club some of it to do with what they wish.

Do you have a Latics tattoo?

Yes i have 2 i have LATICS on my calf and on my upper arm the good old british bulldog with OLDHAM FC PRIDE OF ENGLAND on the scroll (Those were the days)

So there you have it what type of Latics fan does that make me then.

Have a season ticket but don't go away as much as I used to. Tend to stick to local aways.

Do you think there are certain things a Latics fan should never do?

Bet against us. Bet on us. Boo the team. Own anything red.

How do you react after a defeat?

Drink.

The pub before and after. Effort on the pitch.

If you were given £1,000,000 would you go and support your main rivals?

Yes. There was a time I would have answered no but mortgages, wife, kids.....................

Do you have a Latics tattoo?

no

How much of a fan would you consider yourself?

Have a season ticket, do 2 or 3 aways, pretty solid, but others do more

Do you think there are certain things a Latics fan should never do?

Bet against us. Boo the team without good reason. Want us to lose.

How do you react after a defeat?

Drink. and look for positives (if there are any)

Whats the most important thing about the matchday experience the result or the day in general?

Just the game. Effort, commitment. Booze sometimes.

If you were given £1,000,000 would you go and support your main rivals?

Yep. The question's badly phrased though. I'm sure some see it as "if you suddenly got £1m, would you decide to support our rivals?" It should be "Would you support your rivals (or most hated team?) if you wer paid £1m to do so? (and it'd have to be for life - or you pay the £1m back (Hmm - could I invest it and keep the proceeds when i switch back to OAFC and have to pay £1m back?)

Do you have a Latics tattoo?

no - I sort of like the idea of one, but I'm a wimp.

So, so. Don't get to anywhere near as many home games as I used to, as the reasons to pop home have diminished - and now a five hour round trip becomes a bit more in the "can't be arsed" category.

Away games are a different thing, as it's just a drinking session and I've travelled for much longer than five hours for one of those.

Do you think there are certain things a Latics fan should never do?

Belittle their own players (so long as they are putting the effort in). I still feel guilty for half-heartedly shouting abuse at Pogs for that crappy* second goal against Hartlepuddle (in the 2-0 home defeat over Christmas-ish I think it was).

How do you react after a defeat?

Come the end of the season we'll be mid-table. Individual results don't matter :censored:. If things start getting close, then I get a bit more miffed - but in the end it's about the social aspect rather than who we play.

What's the most important thing about the matchday experience the result or the day in general?

Meeting people and having a bit of a laugh. By an absolute mile. I get to some non-league rubbish up here, and the difference in the people you meet is quite large. All the good aspects of football fans are taken in, but still a massive sense of pride in their clubs. The result rarely is of that much importance.

If you were given £1,000,000 would you go and support your main rivals?

Like others I'd do many, many things for 10p £1,000,000.

Do you have a Latics tattoo?

Nah. Just looks a bit common, especially at 50 or 60 (if I reach that age).

*Doesn't even begin to describe how bad it was.

just about what sort of a fan you see yourself, I think it would be interesting to see the views of some fellow Latics fans by answering the following questions

How much of a fan would you consider yourself?

I would call myself a die hard, or if you wish to label us a superfan whatever, i attend near enough every Sat game home or away, do not have a season ticket as i would lose out on mid week games due to work.

How do you react after a defeat?

drink, and debate, did we play well, was we robbed, or just not good enough.

Whats the most important thing about the matchday experience the result or the day in general?

Result its nice to win, however despite losing had some quality away trips.

If you were given £1,000,000 would you go and support your main rivals?

I am a fan - I think you just either are or you aren't

Do you think there are certain things a Latics fan should never do?

Eat Marmite. Ruin the game/day out for other fans by being a prick/miserable so-and-so

How do you react after a defeat?

Have been near suicidal (QPR play-off) but generally just grumpy and somewhat deflated for the post-match session

Whats the most important thing about the matchday experience the result or the day in general?

Friends, letting hair down, being silly, beer.

If you were given £1,000,000 would you go and support your main rivals?

For a million I would take a gay or straight man and then have a dog lick my arse. But I would subcontract the work out to Youngen and Lee Sinnott for a fraction of my earnings.

Do you have a Latics tattoo?

No. Only time I came close to a tattoo they wouldn't do me as I was clearly very drunk, probably for the best as I was going to have a Red Rose and I was in York.
