joe_lead
Whats the difference between a pitch inspection and a precautionary pitch inspection? I don't know the difference between a pitch inspection and a precautionary pitch inspection but I do know the difference between a Duck and a Cow - Except for a cow, they can both swim. RobOAFC
Whats the difference between a pitch inspection and a precautionary pitch inspection? I think its to see whether the game has any chance of being on, so with us, if their is any chance of pitch thawing, snow & ice cleared.. or will be cleared enough for everyones safety.. not to sure though.. I think one means it could be on and the other means it could be off but I'm not sure which way round it is. So we know about two, how many other types of pitch inspection are there? Diego_Sideburns
The precautionary pitch inspection is to establish whether there is enough of a possibility that the game may be on, to make Swindon's proposed trip north today a worthwhile risk. Diego_Sideburns
What a difference a day makes Twenty-four little hours Brought the sun and the showers Where there used to be snow Snow melted but water not drained away, so there’s still a chance of the pitch being waterlogged. http://www.oldhamathletic.co.uk/page/NewsU...2240987,00.html
