Latics fans have a great record of levelling personal abuse at managers who have success elsewhere but not here - e.g. Warnock, Moore. Penney. I'm all for criticising Penney 'cause he was a shít manager for us, but personal attacks on the guy? Unwarranted. Like you said it says more about personal dishing out the abuse than the person the abuse is aimed at.
