Then it turned to fear with the realisation that nobody wanted to take it other than a loanee with no loyalty strings attached to Latics. Although perhaps he might just be the one man who is detached enough to cope with the pressure. But then again, this is Latics and it's bound to go pear-shaped. But hang on, he's scooorrred! Followed by absolute bedlam and "Oldham scored a goal scored a goal Oldham scored a goal na na na na na!!"
