I'm not saying there's no experience, but scratch below the surface and the squad is still pretty thin. Quality wise too I think most recognise we are lacking, though not for a want of trying by PD. It has the backbone of a team that should be able to hold its own (though not compete at the top end), it's still worrying what could happen if/when injuries hit. I think the experienced/quality players playing as well as they can and the kids stepping up can see us pushing for promotion. Credit to Dickov for the signings which I believe to be solid if unspectacular. While I don't think we have a "guarenteed" 20 goal striker in the squad I reckon two of Smith, Reid and Kuqi will make it into double-figures. There's no one player who cant be dropped or replaced if needs be, lets hope a few young players show up as we've seen with some in the past.
