The Chron said in August: If Oldham Council approves, construction could start as early as October. Supporters could be watching games in a four-stand stadium by the end of 2013. Then nothing is said. Piss take. To be fair, Corney was looking into alternative construction methods, such as building it overseas and shipping it over. There was also a possible design change being mooted to up capacity from c2,400 to over 3,000. Until these issues have been fully explored a planning application isn't appropriate.
