Brian Cox on Jonathan Ross

Recommended Posts

He also said he hadn't been to a match for a long long time...

He does give the impression that there's quite a lot going on in his life. I very much enjoyed his description of the bonkers mad chemistry teacher that we both experienced on an earlier show

It was probably the last time Halley's Comet appeared in the inner Solar System.

So missing:

Us loose out in the first ever play-offs

A cup final at Wembley

2 semi finals at Maine Road

A promotion as Champons of the 2nd Division

3 seasons in the top flight

A semi-final at Wembley

And ....

I like the guy, follow him on twitter (Wife is interesting too!)

I asked him twice in the build up to Liverpool to RT good luck to us. Nothing,

Then part way through the match he was tweeting regular updates etc.

I don't mind him not pretending he is ah huge fan and loads going on, but narked me a bit.

Really frustrating how you can draw in 7500 home supporters for Liverpool and Everton but against same league opposition there are sub 4000 crowds, still I don't blame them, it's hard to justify giving up your hard earned to watch Third Division football in a 3 sided stadium when your team hasn't won (at home) since November. The only way to get them back is to be successful, we were drawing 6,000+ crowds in the two recent (ish) play off seasons, hopefully we can pull another rabbit from the hat against Everton on Saturday and keep the interest in the team flowing for a few more weeks.

He's got not far short of a million followers, there's a possibility he didn't see your tweet.

He's mentioned the fact that he used to have a Latics season ticket in interviews before.

So he didn't give attention to an attention seeker.

I respect him even more.

So did this actually happen yesterday? I watched Jonathan Ross when Brian Cox was on last year, and they made a point of mentioning Latics. If he's been on again, and they've brought it up again, he at least must still have a soft spot. Fair play to him, taking time out from being a full time awesome bloke to mention his hometown club...

Yup he does, he mentions Latics in his most recent book I believe.
